Re: Altitude Hold/Advanced Failsafe solutions by NHA
...About last copterposition, there is far small memory for continous recording the flight. If you have a signal loss, it can be the trigger but what is the guarantee of having signal back at that point? I think the home is the most relevant target in Failsafe because when copter is closer and clos...

PID-Beahvior of MW2.2
I know PID's in MW2.2 are 33/40 of earlier ones. Normally I start at the Standard-PIDS and increase P step by step until the Kopter starts to wobble. My experience on different Kopters is: The Kopter doesnt wobble even on very high P-Values but in Flight sometimes suddenly comes an unexpected Roll.....

Re: Altitude Hold/Advanced Failsafe solutions by NHA
first of all: congratiulations, this mod is great, many good ideas, and they are working, very good work. Safety for the Copter in mind, I have two Ideas: 1) Loosing RC-Connection is in most of the cases a question of the Copterposition. When the Copterposition is recorded during flight with good RC...

Hello, I had an frustrating Weekend with NanoWii. It's just an Idea - but we are in "Ideas" right I recognice in the GUI, that the Sensorreaktions have slightly different Timings. e.g. the value from the gyro hasn't reached it's max but acc has already it's max-Value. Gyro should have it's max at about hlaf the way acc, so there is an tim...

Re: I have some trouble with MWC
Did you calibrate your ACC?
In one Video it looks like Copter wants to get always the same ´Position every time you put throttle on it and so ACC gets active. Best you recalbrate ACC with stickkombination, Copter standing on the Landinggear.

Re: Could MWC Be Used as a Head Tracker?
As I understand it is possible to a) connect the defined outputpin to an HF-TX or b) connect to trainerport i'm afraid this works with TX with selecable channels for Trainer only (?) I know there are PPM-Injectors extending channels e.g of Futaba 6EX, injecting HT-Signal on Channel 7+8 (behind the c...

So a new, undiskussed Fact is: hoovering in stablemode near MINCHECK is very dangerous, much more than in acromode. But stablemode is not only for Beginers but also to get more security taking Fotos or for FPV... so very bad "behavior" in my Opinion. There is a Difference with ACC aktivat...

I had the same experience.
Against the things I read it is not enough to calibrate ACC in GUI, you have to calibrate it with RC-Sticks. Thereafter the Trimming can be done.

OK, nobody seems to have experience with this, so at least I tell what I found for others suching this Forum, that Rhosewhite has MINTHROTTLE at 1150 @ most of his Copters.
Of course you have to check yourself that Motors are running stable with this.

Re: Exact Definition of MINCOMMAND, MINTHROTTLE and MAXTHROT
When I want to change the code to get a stable sinking during throttlestick at minimum when in stablemode, I guess the following should work: Original: if (rcData[THROTTLE] < MINCHECK) { errorGyroI[ROLL] = 0; errorGyroI[PITCH] = 0; errorGyroI[YAW] = 0; errorAngleI[ROLL] = 0; errorAngleI[PITCH] = 0; ...

Thank you for the explanation. Unfortunately or me the Code is not so selfexplaning (because I'm not an too good programmer), but I will have a look at the code and try to change it, I think about something like: "In stablemode correktion is on during low throttle". When I made my changes ...

MINCOMMAND: given to esc'c when armed, minimum value given from arduino to esc's. MAXTHRO...

does the Arduino only give the throttlevalues to the esc's or is there a feedback from the esc about the real rpm to the arduino?
