Before I used +100% / high / 2000 on the aux switches for active, and 0% / mid / 1500 for off. After reading about this issue, I now use mid / 1500for active, and low / 1000 for off.... This should avoid most problems (I hope)....

Sorry Patrik, But I ask you to unmerge it. We can't add new things during the consolidation step to 2.1 The good news is.... I got it working from the transmitter (ER9X), so no need to change any multiwii code if you're the lucky owner of a reflashed 9X.... To just fly around it's a bitch, but for ...

I found some post by Kilrah over at the 9X forums about a possible frame length issue with FrSky CPPM receivers. http://9xforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=52&t=1044 I tried to duplicate his findings, with the MultiWii, and indeed found problems. However, as far as I can tell without proper test ...

Ok, holy crap. I tried the code above. I set my RC Rate to 1.0 and my Pitch/Roll rate to 0.7. I got it up about 50 feet and tried some rolls, letting go of the stick right before it was level again. Works like a charm. Then I pulled the stick to the back right corner, and did two backwards pitch/ro...

Re: Does ACC get disabled under high stick movements?
You could also do something like that in your transmitter, rather then in the MultiWii.
if your Tx has some decent firmware, that allows custom switches, it should not be so difficult.

Maby make a dual mode for it? Flick a switch and it change the Mix and fly like a plane... Then it will be a real VTOL... Just came back from first flight outside with the SingleCopter. The wind has died down so I could finally fly the SingleCopter with some more room. If you want to get rid of that effect, we might consider to 're-calculate' the drift I factor, to make it pointing in the other direction if the copter yaw's.... Well, if trimmed properly, it should fly pretty straight. It will not be perfect, but you shouldn't need to correct a lot, even with mag off. So I think it must be fixable... it's NOT a feature. Re: Tricopter Yaw issue
You can trim out any mechanical yaw in software. You'll need to go in the LCD menu, and change the TRIM SER Y parameter. It defaults at 1500 (or mid travel). With the transmitter stick you can change it untill your Tri remains steady. I typically hold the tri loosly in my hand (so it can yaw freely)...

I don't think the static deviation described in that article is the main concern for our multicopters. It would be a rather constant deviation....
