Re: Many people here still flying Multiwii?
I fly multiwii everyday. Love it. Cheap reliable fast from my experience with quadcopter. By default slapped onto a frame, it flys better than apm cc3d and pixhawk out the box. GUI works in debian linux (something that has prevented me from using cc3d boards hardly at all). Just bought two boards th...

Debian linux, i am root. I can change other things in gui.

Excellent, solution i was looking for. If anyone else's aircraft is wobbling all over the damn place. Start with that, decrease P on pitch and roll until it goes away.

Re: Why do my motors immediately arm?
post a wiring diagram.
i'm interested in how it is.
i agree i don't have props spinning unless i'm flying.
Waste of battery plus noise etc.

Re: Why do my motors immediately arm?
That is the default setting when motors are armed. Safety setting, lets you know they are armed. Hold throttle all the way down and left. This should disarm them. you can do #define MOTOR_STOP in the sketch to turn this off but i wouldn't. in the gui i think you can turn off arm mode and do a write(...

Re: Need Assistance Diagnosing MW board
firmware version has to be same as tool. If you are using linux you have to be root or change all kinds of permissions. the screen you posted of config tool shows it not connected.

I don't think you should have to have a TSA check before posting a video of some real estate you are selling.
didn't have to before.
that is fascistic.

Re: No yaw change from controller
I would try another cable if you haven't already. d6 is correct. Another troubleshooting step is maybe connect the same cable to another pin on the fc (d3 d4 or d5) and see if it responds. If it does, this will eliminate it being a tx/rx problem. If you connect to another and it responds, multiwii m...

Re: No yaw change from controller
which receiver? on TX should be a display mode, go into display mode and make sure yaw (on TX) is correctly wired to corresponding channel wiring on RX and flight controller.

Re: flying all crazy and stuff
Cool thanks for the explanation. I actually had another multiwii board and i swapped them out. Flys fine now. I think the first board is damaged. It was like tilting it while giving a little throttle did nothing as though the gyro was nonexistant. I was mistaking this for being stuck in acro mode.
