Re: Vtail Y4 PID tuning or mixing?
Others may have a difference opinion however, from what I see in the second picture, your copter is going to YAW around the greatest mass which is the battery. you were right. i made a lighter bat-holder construction, and put the lipo closer to COG. now it flies perfect, far better than many quads ...

nice program, worked some minutes until crashed.
after installing this, my phone showed "java" errors when starting my other multiwii android apps.
deinstalled it, and all other mw-apps work fine again.

Re: GPS integration
i use allinone-board + drotek gps.
works fine outofthebox on GUI.
before testing outside, i need some info..
do i have to activate baro for position-hold too, or is all done by gps only?
or is it a drawback to activate baro+gps at the same time?

Hello EOSBandi, The Crius does not have GPS integrated. And their price is the price in chinese market without any tax. RCtimer and Goodluckbuy are 2 web stores in Shenzhen China who sell cheap products to US and Europe. You have to know that the TVA/VAT in France and Germany is around 19%. Their f...

Vtail Y4 PID tuning or mixing?
hi, my Y4 Vtail flies nice so far. i dont use Vtail mixing, motors have same spinning direction as QUAD there is only one small issue. when given YAW only while hovering, the cotper flies a circle instead of turning around at one point. its a very small circle (about 40cm diameter). is there very li...

its almost perfect , thank you just tested with my vtail. as i hadnt time to change motor spindirection, i used Y4 define. seems Y4 is very good matching my setup (4 x 1000kv motor, front 10x4, back 8x4 props) used stock settings. 2.1 is sooo nice - first flight i forgot to test autolevel. no need f...

the asymmetric attitude is strange on one of my quads i have exactly the same problem. forward pitch is much less than backward. it occured when i switched from a turnigy 9x (which worked as it should...) to a cheap HK 4 channel Tx/Rx mode1. after changed it to mode2 that behavior occured. in my ca...

would it be very difficult to move that pins, i think it wont be just replacing every PIN5/PIN6 in (HEXA) code with A0/A1 ?
because then Rx input is still missing?

hi, if frame is some distortet, not all motors+props might have the same , exact vertical direction. had a yaw problem with one of my quads with DIY alloy tube frame too - a little skewing one whole arm to the other direction than yaw drift solved that problem. be careful and skew only very little, ...

how to arm motors with too little servo-throw ?
hi, for my 3rd copter i would like to use a very cheap 4 channel Tx. problem is : in GUI i do not reach the YAW 1100/1900 to arm/disarm motors, the yaw-servo-throw is too little, and not adjustable in Tx. . is ist possible to change the code in order to arm motors at 1200 and disarm at 1800? and if ...
