Re: [ESC] - Turnigy PLUSH 18A and MINTHROTTLE

Hi all, I finally just made the test by myself and it's working perfectly at MINTHROTTLE 1150 for my 4 Turnigy PLUSH 18 Amps ESCs. For people that expected that they do not work, they're out, they work great ! I'll test this settings for Turnigy PLUSH 12 Amps ESCs as well and post back for the resul...

[ESC] - Turnigy PLUSH 18A and MINTHROTTLE

Hi all, hope everybody is fine here with his multis I recently setup a new quad with a SK450 frame from HK which is great stuff, added some KDA 20-26M motors running 8x4.5' props. But reading through the conf file (config.h) I'm used to the Turningy PLUSH 10 Amps ESC, and there's a specific MINTHROT...

Hi, I'm not having this exact type of board but flying with a 328P and MPU6050 witho0ut anything else through the I2C bus. Last time I had a strange behaviour like yours was the day my ITG3200 fried on the board while flying As it seems that you've got an all integrated card it'll be a little tricky...

Salut Olivier, ça roule ? For this kind of issue, I'm also using a 10DOF from Drotek without any problem. I had fried an ITG3200 on a Drotek 6DOF V2 last week, gyro was not working anymore, it was still addressable through the I2C bus, but no data were sent back from the sensor to the MCU Have you t...

Re: Asymmetric output when gyro shows about zero.

@tovrin, you're completely right, I haven't seen that deprys' center values are offset. Those should be set to 1500 using SUBTRIM on the TX first, and then adjust END POINTS to around 120% (Futaba for instance), then you'll have a complete ~1000 to ~2000 range of values with a perfect center at ~150...

Re: Asymmetric output when gyro shows about zero.

Hi all, I finally found my issue concerning motors that are moving asymmetrically, in fact I have my ITG3200 fried on the IMU It responds to its I2C address (0x69) but gives back absolutely no data, everything is well defined in the config.h file. If you face something similar, the behaviour is almo...

Hi, @Derpy: have you found something to solve this issue ? I have almost the same behaviour but my copter is flyable for the first 5 minutes, then even if gyros gets recalibrated (PITCH stick back and YAW stick left on the ground), it flips when I take off immediately. Hi guys, Hamburger, I think , like you, that the frame design doesn't matter at all in that configuration, because you have 4 motros so it's by definition a "quad". What's important is if the flight controller board is perfectly in the center of the circle made by the 4 motors, so if you p...

Re: Way to manually program all Esc's simultaniously

Hello,

I also use something I made like the one from Undcon:

http://www.undcon.com/2012/05/05/esc-ca ... -and-dymo/

Works perfectly well ;-), be just careful not to wire the positive wire to all positives pin on all ESCs, just one between the receiver and one ESC is fine.

[PROMINI] - anyone can save my ProMini board please ?

Hi all, I had a bad experience with one of my promini board (wrong power voltage applied to it ) and as a result I have fried the SMD capacitor C19 just before the voltage regulator (RAW pin). The reference of the component is "106", so it's a polarised unit (rated at max 25V as we should ...

Just to say that I personnaly prefer QuadX, for the look , they're funny to fly ! For camera mounting purposes, I prefer a tricopter (or Y3/6) because of the angle of view you can exploit in the front of the copter (remember that a GoPro cam could be setup to achieve a 170° of field of view !), so i...

I fly with prop savers mounted on 4 Turnigy 2204-14 motors, that's working great but as you mentionned there's a little difference between a hard connector (prop adaptor) and prop savers, test them both to see that difference.

Hi, have you checked on pin 5 of the FM04 GPS board, if you have a continuously output one-second high-level with one-second low-level signal ? This means that you'll have at least 2D fix, afterward pin 5 will be continiously at a high level when 3D fix is OK. After that, check to see if you get pin...

The ESC controling the rear right motor is connected to pin 9 of the arduino, it must rotate clockwise with a clockwise prop. On the vid, your prop is OK on the rear right motor but the motor is spinning the wrong way. Swap 2 of 3 wires that comes from the ESC and go the to motor, you'll then be abl...

Absolutely, I mean checking each "power unit" independantly in order to determine if it's the CPU board that does not allow the motor to pull up to full throttle. Check that in two steps: -> first directly from your receiver to the ESC witn a linear throttle curve and check if the thrust i...

You could try to connect only one motor and its ESC at a time, and try to handle it by hand (be careful !), push the throttle until you feel a good lift from this motor side.
Do this one by one for the 4 motor and ESC, I think you have contradictions in the corrections in the vid.

Hi, for Futaba radios, you should set MIDRC to 1520, that's Futaba's default center. The other solution is to use your radio subtrims to move the center of the sticks back to 1500 in the radio (around -20 steps in a 8FG for instance), you can do this setting by checking throughout the GUI, then you'...
