Did you cover it with a foam in order to avoid external disturbaces (for example wind)?

Re: Setting GUI for POS,POSR,NAVR,LEVEL,MAG
If you set PID values to 0 the board will not compensate the movements. Talking about Level, if you set 0 to all values and you enable horizon mode, when you leave the sticks the quad will not return to horizontal position. I tried to set yaw PIDs to zero and after take off the quad started to rotat...

Re: my motors doesn't work from gui
Hi. I don't know if you have already fix the problem but i think that you have to uncomment one of this line: /**************************** Motor minthrottle *******************************/ /* Set the minimum throttle command sent to the ESC (Electronic Speed Controller) This is the minimum value t...

Re: Multiwii Crius vers2.5/GPS problem
Crius SE v2.5 isn't good for gps function. It has very low memory(32kb) compared to CRIUS All in one pro v2.0 (256 kb) which has ATmega 2560 processor. Infact, when you upload sketch on the FC arduino says you that stability problem may occour due to low memory. I had the same loss of throttle contr...

Re: [Quadcopter] [Arduino Nano/Uno] ESCs control problem
Hi. which version of multiwii are you using? Have you connect to arduino a IMU board (eg GY80) with sensors? I don't think it's an arduino problem because my first quadcopter was made with arduino uno and IMU GY 80 and it flied well. Which line in config.h did you uncomment?

How to connect Turnigy 9xr pro to multiwii through PPM
Hi guys! In this guide, I want to show you how Turnigy 9XR Pro transmitter with DJT module and D8R-II Plus receiver connected on Crius AIOP v2 or Crius Se v2.5 works with Multiwii 2.4. I wrote this because i haven't found a complete guide on this argument. This radio and receiver can be setted for PP...

Re: Connecting the PPM
Hi. Connect PPM pin from the receiver (i have FRSKY D8RII-plus and it's channel 1) to pin D2 and uncomment one of this define line in config.h: //#define SERIAL_SUM_PPM PITCH,YAW,THROTTLE,ROLL,AUX1,AUX2,AUX3,AUX4,8,9,10,11 //For Graupner/Spektrum //#define SERIAL_SUM_PPM ROLL,PITCH,THROTTLE,YAW,AUX1...

Crius Multiwii se v2.5 fried!!!
Hi. I was calibrating compass of my quad and fc was connected to pc with ftdi. After few seconds i saw a little point of fire on the board and a smoke. I disconnected the usb cable and reconnect the fc but it wasn't recognized anymore. Status green led turned on and off moving the board while it was...

Re: my drone does not fly
If you fly in horizon mode where fc uses gyro and acc you shouldn't have problems because it gives more speed to that motor with closer esc (the torque due to the weighting force is a little bit higher because the distance from the center of quad between esc weight +motor weight is higher than other...

Re: my drone does not fly
Hi. I saw the video and i think that it can be an esc's calibration problem but you have to give us more information of your quad. Which are your pids values? Which is the flight mode in the video (acro,horizon/angle)? Which is the multiwii version? Which is your flight controller, motor and escs? Mo...

Re: Weird loss of throttle control.
Hi ed, I've just finished to try your config.h file in the conditions you suggested. Nothing!!! I tried again my configuration and nothing happened. Quad on gui seems to reflect each stick movements perfectly. I don't know how happened in the field but tomorrow and next days i'm going to fly without...

Re: Current status of GPS & I2C GPS board on 328p
I'm agree with you. Four satellites are minimum number for a 3d fix and five ones (or more) give a better positioning. I think that i2c nav board flashes 3 times only to say that 3d fix is reached but Multiwii wants 6 satellites (and enables some things) in order to start working with GPS from a ver...

Re: Weird loss of throttle control.
This is the video of the crash. After few seconds motors started to make a strange noise and i lost throttle. I tried to land the copter which wanted to take altitude even if the gas was 0.

Re: Weird loss of throttle control.
Yes. I've HC-05 Bluetooth module installed on the quad and EZ-GUI on my phone. Thanks for the code, I'll try when i'll be at home.I'll post the test results as soon as possible. I red the code quickly and i found quite the same uncommented lines (quadx,HK_Multiwii_v2 as board). I saw that MINThrottle...

Re: Weird loss of throttle control.
Hi and thanks for the reply. I have no VBAT and POWERMETER enabled because i haven't FPV goggles (i think to buy them in december), so i don't need these informations (i have a little lipo tester on my quad that control the battery voltage and rings when it goes down 3.5 v). I thought that BARO took...

Re: Weird loss of throttle control.
Hi. I had the same problem you showed in the video. I was flying well when i lost throttle control and the copter started to take altitude. Pitch, roll and yaw worked but i couldn't do anything to land the quad because even if the gas was 0 the copter didn't descend.Motors started to spin on and off...

Re: Current status of GPS & I2C GPS board on 328p
Hi! I've a multiwii se v2.5 with multiwii 2.4 code mounted on a quad x. Two weeks ago i bought a Crius gps v3.1 with i2c gps nav board. It works well but my flight controller went crazy two times. I was flying well and i lost the possibility to use the throttle and the motors started to make classic...
