Re: Insanely simple GPS hold question
Metori, Hey, thanks for replying! Since I posted that, my experience with MultiWii has taught me that GPS HOLD, when triggered, tells the copter to stay at the location the controller was in when it was activated. If you then fly somewhere, your copter will fly fine, but as soon as you release the s...

Possible to get more than 10 mission commands in WinGUI?
Hi Guys, Forgive me if I have the wrong thread, or if this topic is already covered. I've been reading the pages to find the answer to this, but, well... I'm using WinGUI and the 2.4 code with my Quadrino controller. I have waypoints working nicely and I've looked at the source code to figure out ho...

Insanely simple GPS hold question
Hi all, Here are some really simple questions about GPS hold. (Which I think is working for me, by the way.) 1) With regards to stick input, when can I use it? For example, let's say I'm at 100% throttle, rocketing skyward and I flip the switch for GPS hold. What happens if I keep throttle full? 2) ...

Re: MTK3329 - NEMA wasn't working... Works in MiniGPS tool..
Great idea! I've probably got just the diode in one of my electronics kits. But, hey, how is everyone making theirs work? I mean, isn't this one of those cases where the stock hardware shouldn't work? In my frustration, I actually ordered another one when I thought I had fried it. I'm considering in...

You know, I said to myself, "nothing to lose". Read on, this is cool. For anyone with "MTK 3329 GPS doesn't work" issues, this will be very enlightening! I started to read everything I could online about this combo of MultiWii Pro board and MTK 3329. The fact that the serial port...

Re: MTK3329 - NEMA wasn't working... Works in MiniGPS tool..
Well, it's a couple weeks later. The weather warmed up, so I grabbed my quad and plugged it in with a fresh battery. GPS is not communicating again. The only difference is that it sat on the shelf for a couple of weeks. Reflashing firmware including resetting GPS doesn't help. When powering on, the ...

Re: HK multiwiipro w/gps gps issues
Interesting.... I've found that I can get it to work consistently if I run the sketch (upload the firmware) when I have full battery power coming to the board rather than just USB power. I've now loaded the 2.3 and 2.4 versions of MultiWii fine. It looks like I may have a power issue causing my odd ...

Hi,
Did you ever figure out why it started working? I'm having the same issue.

Re: MTK3329 - NEMA wasn't working... Works in MiniGPS tool..
For what it's worth, I'm having the same problem with my MTK 3329GPS. My story *might* help a bit. Last week I had it all working, but I wasn't using the 2.3 MultiWii software and as such couldn't use the INIT_MTK_GPS to change my baud from 115200 to 57600 because of errors in the MultiWii sketch wi...

Re: 2.3 error in GPS.cpp (serialGpsPrint) Can't init MTK
Wow, thanks, QuadBow. I was *so sure* that I had been working on a fresh copy of 2.3. But, after your post, I downloaded a fresh copy and just as you say, it's fine. Hey, I really appreciate you spending your time to help me out! And, I apologize for not checking that myself. I *believe* that what I...

2.3 error in GPS.cpp (serialGpsPrint) Can't init MTK
When trying to compile the 2.3 MultiWii code, you have the options of defining: (#define INIT_MTK_GPS) I'd like to do this in order to use the BAUD of 57600 rather than the default of 115200. But, there is a compile time error in the code that seems to be well known. But, I can't find a solution on ...

Disarming issues: Should I use separate BEC?
Hi, Yesterday I flew my quad around quite a bit. On the bench in my house, I can arm, spin up and disarm fine. When I go flying, I'm finding that after I land I can't disarm any longer. I'm trying to figure out why. I read in another thread that it's possible my board isn't getting enough voltage an...

Re: GPS working, but I cannot use rtf poshold or any gps opt
Got it all working! To make an extremely long story extremely short.... I had, at some point, ran a configuration GUI with the wrong version of the flight software (2.3 vs 2.4). Don't do that. To fix it all, I deleted everything and started over. Took about 15 minutes. The full refresh meant: 1) Dow...

Re: GPS working, but I cannot use rtf poshold or any gps opt
I'm having basically the same problem. As with many, I've spent far too many day getting it all working and I refuse to give up now. I have the Hobby King MultiWii Pro with the GPS module. The GPS is working; I get 8 or 9 satellites sitting near a window. But, I've had the weirdest behavior that I'm...
