Hex Spider optimum code ... help please
Hi, I'm having trouble finding optimum settings / Arduino code for my Hex Spider. I'm using a Drotec 6DOF, a separate Baro, with a Divide FC with a Promini V1.9 was sort of ok ,but as I moved to V2 , I started having problems.. early releases didn't work at all, but the latest version I'm using ( ab...

Re: Possible Bug with in Hex X ... please help
Hi,
the Rx is a spektrum 6100.
I don't believe there is any issue with the motor pin output as it has flown perfectly on 1.9 the only thing changed was the latest s/w dev used..
The processor is a pro mini with A0 and A1 activated in the sketch.
Cheers,
Shaun

Possible Bug with in Hex X ... please help
Hi I have just loaded Dev20120504 sw onto my Hex X I have a Drotek V1 6DOF ( ITG3200 + BMA180) with a seperate Baro on. This is mounted on a Divide V1 board . The problem is as follows... In Standard mode ( no ACC or Baro), the copter flys as expected. With Gyro and ACC it flies fine EXCEPT when mov...

Hexcopter with latest sw rev..is it OK now..
Hi, I tried an ealier version of V2 software on my hex spider and it wasn't very happy at all , unflyable. Has the latest release sorted this yet as I don't want to reflash it and then have to take it back again if there is still some unresolved issues. I'm currently on 1.9 on my hex spider... Other...

Re: [bug] MPU6050 DLPF setting has no effect
Hi, I have upgraded the s/w on my promini as above. I now have a strange problem, With no ACC the copter appears fine, switch in the ACC and it has what appears to be a reversed effect .i.e hold the copter in hand, start to rotate it in roll and instead of levelling it it tries to increase the rate ...

Re: [bug] MPU6050 DLPF setting has no effect
Looks like some frames somehow have problems with some kind of resonance/vibrations.. that's usually fixed by using a DLPF introduced in the MPU6050 thanks to the code in this page. Thanks again .. I'll try changing the DLPF settings and post my findings here... The props are well balanced and ther...

Re: Strange Quad behaviour at high speed HELP !!!!
Hi Chris, I've got some carbon props from Paul at Flyduino.. I'll try them.... That makes sense.. I have increased the power on this quad by approx 150 Watts . It didn't do it before and that was the only change.. The connectors are high quility, I'm 101% certain there is no problem there.. I'll try...

setting esc's already soldered in position..flydumini
Hi, can anybody help please? I have had to replace 2 of the esc's on my Flydumini . There used to be software available for syncing all the esc's up once installed on the frame. The link was on Pauls site ( Flyduino) but althought the link is still there , the software has been removed. Any help app...

Re: Connecting multiple +5v to the board via ESC
I've burned 3 ESC turnigy plush like this way. When i've connected the main power i've produced allot of white smoke. Never and i am very serious with this connect in parallel the +5V of the 2 or more ESC. If you really want to do this, put some diodes that will match the current flow so you can st...

Re: Tricopter Flipping Out on 1.8 Help please
The supersimple esc's are normally supplied with black heatshrink and an orange / blue label. The pentiums are supplied in red heatshrink for the turnigy version or yellow for the hobbywing version. I have recently had 10a hobbywing esc's supplied in clear heatshrink with a black label. As previousl...

Re: Tricopter Flipping Out on 1.8 Help please
Hi, I usually only fly my copters with the wmp and not the auto levelling activated. I only use auto levelling if I get disoriented when flying aeros around the field . So, would it be safe to assume that super simple esc's and 1.8 have a problem.
Has anybody tried supersimple esc's with 1.8 patch 2 yet?

Re: Tricopter Flipping Out on 1.8 Help please
Hi Cardboard, As my hardware works fine on 1.7, I can only assume, that changes in the software are causing the problems in my case. I have set the ESC type up correctly in the software. I would like to get it sorted as I want to start using the Baro which I understand is better in 1.8. As I fly ind...
