Re: TRANSFORMING VTOL EDF JET DRONE (VARITECH) – ROBOTECH PR

Installed the new metal gear servos. They work great. They warm up a little too much but I need to keep the volts up to feed these 5 servos in continuous action. Installed the first wings to test, which I already had waiting in my junkyard. I am a little concerned with the wing area being small but ...

This is my second test after the last video and my first successful GPS and altitude lock with some amazing close-ups! A little shaky but from 1:35 minute mark to the end I didn’t touch pitch/roll/yaw. I was in control of the throttle until 3:32 minute mark. GPS is a little over compensating but the...

MonoBot: Aerial Robotics Project

MonoBot is my project that I will be working on next couple of years. I want to utilize MonoPhan tech in aerial robotics, via use of sensors and Arduino. Re: TRANSFORMING VTOL EDF JET DRONE (VARITECH) – ROBOTECH PR

A part of a fun flight from this weekend. Overall this unit is the best so far. Great power, agility and balance.

I took it to almost half way in transition in this flight. However, it is still very quick even if you just use the pitch forward and not use transition at all.

Thanks...

Re: Single EDF nano FPV platform with Thrust Vectoring

Ok. This is the final design. It looks phreaky sweet!!! Below is a combination of a couple of flights. After the first two, I replaced the thrust vectoring nozzles with new and larger ones. Re: Single EDF nano FPV platform with Thrust Vectoring

The first flight videos with the new outfit. The new design restricted the airflow a little bit and added about 7 grams. The video below, shows a flight at almost full horizontal. It got there without any problems and didn't speed up too much on the way.
