Re: Airplane mode
The project multiwii is fantastic, I'm sorry there is so little interest in the airplane platform. I have here a CRIUS all in one and a shield with a MP6050 waiting for your developments. If this remains stalled, I will be forced to use the arduplaneng that is ready for gps navigation, but 100% new ...

msev wrote:No problem , can you help me out with that 9x receiver support?
Sorry msev, I don't have sufficient acknowledge to help you, but I suggest to buy another Tx module and receiver with standard Failsafe, brand (JR?) compatible with your Turnigy 9x, I suppose that solves your problem.

Re: Airplane mode
Ohhh THANKS msev!!! That is what I'm looking for!
I have Tri's & Quads with Multiwii, and I love it, but for the airplane mode we must wait for new improvements... :/
I'll take some time reading this ardupilot port, Thank you

Re: Airplane mode
Cool that you guys are giving some love to the airplane branch ...Why don't you guys use some code from arduplane code? There is also a port from Jean-Louis Nadine..Once you'll get things working it might be cool if you would post some video of how your plane flys on multiwii? Hi msev, Do you have ...

Re: Airplane mode
As far as I can see from the code the altitude hold mode only influences the throttle as this controls altitude on multicopters. That obviously doesn't work on airplanes and it would need to control throttle and elevators to keep the height. My EasyGlider crashed many many times, have now the motor...

Re: quadcopter controlled via pc?
I have done also the Ian Johnston Joystick solution, and works great (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... IUw7Lfdme4).
But if you don't want canabalise your joystick, I think that this is what you are looking for:
https://www.insecure.ws/2010/03/19/cont ... se-windows
A cheap solution and open source, maybe you can improve the source code
Cheers

So I can connect directly to pins A0 and A1 wright? Ok, my programmer and electronic skills are near to "0"... So I'll wait for your code developments, I'm sure that a lot of people have some flymentors to attach on our Multiwiis.

Re: Position Hold with Optical Flow sensor - done
Yes, comparing pictures seems to be exactly a ADNS2610. I found this on the helifreak site: I finally got a Flymentor and have begun looking at the way it works. The names on the chips and camera have been removed, but we worked out that the camera is most likely a ADNS 2610. ( a datasheet is on the...

Re: Aux2 mixed with pitch issue - Multiwii 2.0
Yes I tested, and he don't moves. It's some related with FC or the code. My FC(Paris V1.2 / promini) is connected with a ardupilot board that have the I2c_gps_Nav code, can the ardupilot board make this strange issue?

Re: Position Hold with Optical Flow sensor - done
Hi! I remembered that I had lost here at home, a Flymentor, and could use the optical sensor with your code. After opening it to find out which sensor was inside the box, I saw that they removed the references ... Can someone tell me what sensor is this? I would like to use it with your code. Regard...

Aux2 mixed with pitch issue - Multiwii 2.0
Hi guys, I decided to turn on AUX2 via pin d12, so I enabled (only) AUX2 on code and added a servo connector directly to pin D12, +5 v and ground. When I opened the GUI (even before I connect the cable/connector to my receiver) noticed that the AUX2 channel was floating between the minimum and maxim...

Re: GPS integration
I tried once setting the gps baud by setting Serial.begin(9600) in the I2C GPS since this was the default of my FGPMMOPA6B GPS but it didn't work. I ended up installing a backup battery so I can set the default to 115200. I didn't try any other speed. Thanks MicroRaptor, I'll try to increase the em...

Re: GPS integration
Ok guys, looks like I have partially solved the problem! I commented these lines on TWI.c file: / / activate internal pullups for twi. / / digitalWrite (SDA, 1); / / digitalWrite (SCL, 1); And now I have all the sensors working without errors on i2c. But ... I do not receive information from GPS (em...

Re: GPS integration
Thanks MicroRaptor, No luck here Tried all your steps (now with untouched twi files from EOSBandi) but same problem. I suspect from the Ardupilot board, and from my sparkfan 5v FTDI, because now that the FC is powered from Vcc instead pin12, each time that I open the GUI (with "# define I2C_GPS...

Re: GPS integration
Hi guys, sorry for my hyper mega poor english... I'm two days racking my brain to connect a em-406 gps in my multiwii with EOSBandi solution (Promini + genuine wmp + nunchuck + hmc 5383) without success. I had version 1.7 installed, so I update to 2.0, as I had no pull-ups installed on the board, th...

Re: Esc options - Help please
I tried the option number 3 on the configuration of esc (Hard acc), did not notice any improvement in stability, however I noticed that all the quad vibrated in the air. I went to calibrate the esc's with option # 2, and now ... I'm waiting a little help or any tips. P. S.: I did not see new glitches
