Just an idea
if a rotor is aerodynamically stalling due to air inflow from below ,then the torque will be considerably different?? much higher
this may throw the yaw way of balance
I an using 9 x 5 inch props 1000kv motors 4s battery, finer pitch may be the answer

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread
Hi flew naze 32funfly today with latest firmware, my yaw issue seems to be when the air inflow is reversed (rapid decent with hard check or a hard reversal of direction) this seems to cause blade stall and is noisy and presumably vibrates.worst case in angle only mode 90 degs yaw full power climb is...

OK
Ahumm ! Moving on. Can anyone point me in the direction of older hex files for the naze32 funfly as the october base flight version did not work for me
I m not sure which version I was using previously when headfree worked reasonably well on my board

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread
If the"fucking manuals " contained more information then perhaps we would not need to ask "stupid questions"

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread
Hi CVMichael
Juat a thorght may be your escs are not in balance ( not calibrated the same) this would probably cause yaw in high power situations?

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread
Hi I have been using a naze32 with mag compass flying in headfree mode for photography this was would drift to a confusing offset after slightly aggressive maneuvers so i have flashed the October firmware (base flight gui) and did a carful calibration : and now headfree is completely unusable mode, ...
