Just an idea
if a rotor is aerodynamically stalling due to air inflow from below ,then the torque will be considerably different?? much higher
this may throw the yaw way of balance
I an using 9 x 5 inch props 1000kv motors 4s battery, finer pitch may be the answer

Hi flew naze 32funfly today with latest firmware, my yaw issue seems to be when the air inflow is reversed (rapid decent with hard check or a hard reversal of direction) this seems to cause blade stall and is noisy and presumably vibrates.worst case in angle only mode 90 degs yaw full power climb is...

Hi tried to loadfirmware using the direct method using pad shorting and flash loader demonstrator, this goes well untill i try to load the hex file then messages me with unable to load data from this file?? i an using firefox to download hex should be ok? Getting close to ordering a naza!! Tim

Thanks KC_703 I am still struggling to load local hex file this is what happens i browse to baseflight hex open upper status bar reads local firmware loaded etc 0 bytes ??? press flash, erros stm32 timed out or no bootloader found ,Tried shorting pads while powering up and flashing but no joy flashi...

Ahumm ! Moving on. Can anyone point me in the direction of older hex files for the naze32 funfly as the october base flight version did not work for me
I m not sure which version I was using previously when headfree worked reasonably well on my board

Juat a thorght may be your escs are not in balance ( not calibrated the same) this would probably cause yaw in high power situations?

Hi I have been using a naze32 with mag compass flying in headfree mode for photography this was would drift to a confusing offset after slightly aggressive maneuvers so i have flashed the October firmware (base flight gui) and did a carful calibration : and now headfree is completely unusable mode, ...
