Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread

12mil will hold 2A with 30C ambient temp and allowed 50C temperature rise. I have no idea what the stall current of HS81MG is, I see some spec saying operating current is ~250-280mA, so I guess you will be fine with this?

Custom mix is probably the easiest solution unless you plan to recompile the firmware. The motor maps are in drv_pwm.c , under multiPPM or multiPWM arrays. I don't know why there's no output unless you touched it with 5v (or higher) while it wasn't powered and blew it out. I've actually done this be...

Yes, correct.
I think this is mentioned somewhere (or at least in afromini setup threads).

Because *default* purpose of afromini is for planes, so the servo/motor mapping is different.

No, nobody uses that.
I doubt it even works.
It was something that was copied verbatim from multiwii, and probably didn't work there, either.
All it does is calibrate roll/pitch offsets for accelerometer, which you can do just as easy with acctrim.

NG just means mixer isn't "sane" because you're missing 100% thrust on each axis due to missing motor. Anyway, it still allows flying so.
edit: once you copied the non-working motor pin, to regain mixer sanity, I think you can just replace the dead motor with 0/0/0 for RPY power.

Yes, you can use a voltage divider (2 resistors) and feed it into the A1 or A2 channels on your receiver (I think they're on that 4 pin connector that also has telemetry pin), and then configure the divider in FLD-02 screens, and set alarms on that.

For some dumb rason FLD02 doesn't allow seting alarms on FLVS pack voltage data (the stuff that we're sending from naze). It can only alarm on 'analog" voltage which is sent by receiver itself. So, without custom firmware (like opentx/taranis stuff) that receives FLVS voltage and alarms, you ar...

You can from 3S, you kinda can off 4S (Vreg max is 16V, absolute max 20V), so for 4S maybe you better stick a diode in series. Voltage doens't go to Vbat but directly to PWM pin (i.e the 5V motor connector center pins). Do keep in mind that if you are connecting 3S directly there, your receiver must...
