Re: MultiWii EZ-GUI
@ezio, I have a problem w tablet Sony z4, which doesn't see BT module (cheap one from banggood) on copter (some other android devices work well). Yet, I would like to use tablet screen to draw the missions, but mission planner button is missing (app is unlocked). So, can I use mission planner "...

Re: aiopro v2.0 with v2.3 gps problem
QuadBow, thank you for this clarification! Leo, I had many issues with 2.4, with different boards (DroTek V3 and Crius AIOP V2). i2c devices are going crazy (compass, accelerometer). I guess that might be related to increased the default i2c bus speed in 2.4, but I am not sure. For me, 2.3 with Eosb...

Re: MultiWii EZ-GUI
@ezio, there is a bug in the latest version, in mission planner. If you draw a mission path, and select last waypoint as LAND, the distance is not calculated correctly - the length of the last segment is missing. This can be serious problem, because someone might send the copter too far, fooled by w...

Re: Getting an External Mag to Work?
Hi, I have problems with external compass too. My setup is: DroFly V3 (doesn't have internal compass) + Ublox NEO-M8N + external compas HMC5983, all from drotek.fr. When I upload multiwii, compass is locked and shows 93 degrees all the time. It can't be calibrated using EZ-GUI, for example. However,...

Re: FRSKY telemetry integration into Multiwii 2.4 has starte
Hi, I would like to enable frsky telemetry in multiwii 2.4 (final version). I have frsky D8R II plus receiver, and mega FC (Drotek DroFLy v3). I have Turnigy 9X flashed with OpenTX and frsky radio module and want to buy FLS screen. If I understand correctly, I need RS232 to TTL converter (MAX3232CSE...

Re: GPS NAV
Thank you! I am thinking about switching to APM. I am not interested in another Multiwii board. EDIT: I figured out what happened: log shows horrible GPS performance. It is Mediatek GPS. Despite the clear sky, the GPS data were horribly inaccurate and even the GPS fix was lost for short period. Myst...

Re: GPS NAV
I had a horrible crash today. Everything looked fine, until I switched on GPS Hold. That launched the copter like the projectile, and it hit the building. The damage was severe. I am frustrated because I spent a lot of time to tune the board (red multiwii pro from hk), PIDs etc. and the quad was st...

Re: GPS NAV
@ EOSBandi - am adding some support into MWOSD for your navi software. Just to display waypoint / step no and that is on a mission. MAybe a bit more later. I want to pull out the current waypoint or step number. Looking at MSP I thought it was this: MSP_NAV_STATUS 4th byte (mission_step.number) Is ...

Re: MultiWii EZ-GUI
@ezio, I have a suggestion and a question 1. I think it would be nice to add the "default home position" in the app. My copter is placed in central Africa whenever the app doesn't have gps data. In some cases, even after establishing the gps fix, the map is not refreshed, and I have to rel...

Re: MultiWii EZ-GUI
@ezio, I have found two bugs: 1. in the program, when the altitude is negative it is written correctly in the dashboard, but text-to-speech doesn't pronounce minus, it says "altitude is 15 meters" when the real altitude is -15m. 2. log converter crashes in an attempt to open a log file whi...

I can't open .mission file in the program (log converter), it sees .el1 files only.

Re: GPS NAV
I performed a short test flight, with 150m path, 5-9m altitude. Here is the result: http://s12.postimg.org/54k4rsu4d/screenshot_92.jpg Max deviation from the mission path was about 3m. About the same deviation is logged for altitude values. I think this is not bad. At least, it's much better then my...

Re: GPS NAV
@ezio, I use full version of ez-gui and log converter. These are wonderful apps, indeed. I have a question for you: is there a simple way to load a .mission file in google earth? I create .kml file manually sometimes, but that's boring. I would like to compare mission and logged flight path in googl...

Re: GPS NAV
Clearing ALL 4k of EEPROM helps, thanks!
I will test some missions, and I will post results.
How often do you clear the EEPROM? Do you upload the entire code (sketch) afterwards?

Re: GPS NAV
Barometer on this board is old gen, but it works. Strange thing is that the FC knows that altitude is wrong (I have a log file) and mission planner code ignores that. Yes, z-acceleration is 255, but I think that is normal for this board, isn't it?

Re: GPS NAV
Hi, I use this code on HK red board with mtk gps. It works, but I have a lot of problems to control the altitude. Eosbandi said that the copter doesn't respect waypoint's altitude, right? My copter goes very high (80+ meters) although specified altitudes are 10 meters. I use ezgui to set missions vi...
