Re: What FC recomended for MultiWii 2.4 ?
I've got the crius AIO pro in my newly built hex with an external Mag. I can't get 2.4 to recognise the mag yet 2.3 does so I have reverted to 2.3, is there something obvious that I may doing wrong?

try a different usb cable or even just wiggle it, they are not a real good fit. Or go the FTDI way with jumper removed.

Re: Alt Hold with hacked $25 IR laser distance measurer
I just went out and did a test run to grass etc, much to my surprise it gave great results. I had never tried before, but often have trouble with surfaces on a building site and more over the target you can buy are reflectors = opposite of sand & Grass. (my excuse for being negative to start wit...

Re: Alt Hold with hacked $25 IR laser distance measurer
I use laser measuring equipment for my work, all be them a little more expensive.
They can be quite fussy about the material that they measure from a hard flat surface is best, I haven't tried to measure off grass but I doubt it would work.
It would be great if it though.

Re: Arm problem crius v2
Are you sure you have selected the right board? I had this problem and had selected the crius 2 board (//#define CRIUS_SE_v2_0) instead of the crius (#define CRIUS_AIO_PRO_V1)

Re: Can MultiWii firmware be downloaded into Arduino ?
Hi Bob, Yes you can download it and you can use the Arduino program to view and edit it. So download the latest version of multiwii and the open with the arduino IDE that you just downloaded and installed. But you will need to do a whole lot of reading and experimenting to get any real sense out of ...

Re: How do I get OLED to work?
BY the sounds of it, reading this and your other post, you need to calibrate your radio. Also if you have set dual rates or reduced your rates in your radio these full output stick commands won't work. With your multirotor connected your computer, in the GUI you will see your RC data, at neutral it ...

Re: Newbie needs confirmation for a MultiWii-based quad
I'm just starting out myself, but for what it is worth; I would buy ESCs that already have simonK firmware and then you won't need the programing card either. Also I wouldn't use carbon fibre props to start with you will break a lot of props when learning so buy cheap and buy plenty of spares otherw...

Re: GPS NAV
Thank you for the reply EOSBandi, I am pretty sure that I didn't have Mag enabled with my mission, should I assume that all missions should have Mag enabled, and does it matter where in the mission the POI is set? Also, if I may............. How often do I need to calibrate my Mag? At the moment I d...

Re: GPS NAV
Is the POI function working in this release?
I have only set it once, after the first way point, and then flown around the the POI with a set of 6 waypoints.
The quad always faces the direction of travel and not the POI, in my case.
Thanks

Re: New to quadcopters! Simple questions...
Hi Panda, I'm no expert, but I would say forget using the UHO, build a clock with it or something. Buy your self a purpose made flight controller, one with a MEGA chip will serve you better if you want to do more than just free flight (acro) I use a 9x with the er9x firmware upgrade, which is basica...

Re: Where can I find Wiring Diagram for - Rx and ESCs
Hextrronix board probably means it's sold by HobbyKing, so go to their site find the board you have and then look under the files tab for that product.
Hope that helps?

Re: Tricopter Stability Problem Multiwii pro
I have that board in one of my quads, #define FFIMUv2 is the right setting for it. Have you balanced your props and mounted the Flight controller boards on some foam? It looks like vibration problems I had early on, I couldn't tell from your video but I had a twitching servo on my tricopter, it stil...
