Re: Harakiri aka multiwii port to stm32
I'll give that a crack. Failing that I'll get creative with the FC (mount it high) and see if it makes a difference.

Re: Harakiri aka multiwii port to stm32
I reckon it must be a mag issue as its buried on the naze near all the noise. I'll upgrade to something different I reckon.

Re: Harakiri aka multiwii port to stm32
So I made the above changes and there is no difference in the PH performance. Can anyone help with a tuning methodology? For instance - tune x first and then y etc? I have no idea where to start with this. the r33-documentation.pdf explains a lot of the functions but not the order to tune in. Thanks...

Re: Harakiri aka multiwii port to stm32
So I managed to flash Hara and get flying - it actually flies very nicely out of the box. Question is - did PH work???? Nope I'm running a 450 size quad with 800kv motors and 10" props on a 4s battery - all up weight is 1139 grams - reasonably light but there is no camera gear on it at the mome...

Re: Harakiri aka multiwii port to stm32
Has anyone done a guide to flashing Hari to the Naze32? I had a look at it a number of months ago but the info was very vague - I'm keen to try it.

Sounds like a stupid question but i am guilty of this mistake - have you got the battery plugged in or just powering from the usb?

Need help please - my quad is too fast I just finished a build and it seems the quad is too light for the thrust available. As a result I barely get 1/4 throttle and the quad is hovering - half throttle and the quad is outta there. The issue I have is that it is VERY hard to get down now Pretty muc...

Re: Building New Quad
Your links aren't working. I would probably recommend going the Naze32 over the MWPro. I tried the MWPro and just couldn't get it tuned nicely. Put the Naze on it and it was fine from the start.

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread
lost my first Naze yesterday I have put about 50 packs through my Hex and decided to fly over water for the first time and chase a boat. About 30 seconds in it flipped and sank 14 meters down - I couldn't retrieve it So for those who haven't flown over water before - no matter how reliable your rig ...

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread
Hey guys. Just found out that Alt hold mode uses the "Vel" PIDs in baseflight. Is there any documentation on this? How does it relate to "ALT" in the PIDs? I've been trying to find info to tune it but no can find!!

Unusual GPS results
Hey guys. i have a Naze32 and today I received a Ublox 6m. After some mucking around I got the Naze to recognise it (gps_type=1 and gps_baudrate=1) and I thought I was sweet. Iconnected the battery and fired up the gui and had 12 satellites. After about 30 seconds I has 3-4 satellites. I repeated th...

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread
I should have been a bit more clear. I have tuned PIDS on multiwii but always started at Zero on I and D and went from there. I'll do as you say and start lowering rather then increasing values. The values I was talking about are referring to Alt hold in Multiwii I changed the default P of 5 from 0 ...

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread
Well I got my Acro Naze32 last week and its amazingly easy to setup and flies really well out of the box. Had a few good flights with it already but its still wobbling a little bit as you can see in the video - its just not a smooth as others. m m Today the full board arrived so I put that on. I cov...

First day FPV'ing a Naze32
I haven't FPV'd in a long time. Got my first Naze32 board in a couple of days ago and FPV'd it today. Very impressed with how locked in it feels. The video shows it shaking a bit but it didn't seem to when watching it third person. Need to maybe look at looptime and PIDS. The frame has a little bit ...

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread
So I got my Naze32 Acro today and hooked it up. What a difference. Took off first time - stock PIDS and was smooth as silk. So nice to fly but it was a little docile for me. I decided to up the RC rate to 1.4 which made it a lot more fun. I was testing out horizon mode doing some flips - makes it so...

Re: MW 2.3 GPS Hold/RTH Issue - Quad wants to crash :(
I am also new but have gotten a bit further than you I reckon. Q1 - have you set your transmitter endpoints from 1000 to 2000 and your subtrim to 1500? That can be verified in the GUI. Do that if you haven't. Q2 - Did you calibrate your gyro's and accelerometers? To do gyros - make sure the multi is...

Re: GPS Navigation
I am a noob so can't answer most of your questions. What I can tell you is that just this morning I had a crack at tuning pos hold myself. I couldn't see any response when I turned on pos hold only. I had to turn on angle mode at the same time before it would work. With this in mind I suspect you wi...

Re: How does Alt Hold really work?
I'm just starting out with Multiwii (version 2.3) and so far I've got hovering okish and am trying to get the Alt hold working next. Pretty much anything above 2 on the D value and the hex climbs fairly fast when I hit baro. Seems a bit low but I see others have low figures as well so probably ok. T...
