Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread

But you were experiencing lack of thrust in motor test tab as well as in flight?

Could you edit your comment around 'ESCs from NAZE tot ESC directly'

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread

Oh, I havent seen that, I'm just wondering if it'd be the way to test.. Seeing as acc values graphed haven't much meaning. The real problem im Having is that I believe my escs at full blast have plenty of power to zoom into the sky, yet the naze seems not want to give them the pwm to go full blast.....

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread

Would you say then, for example, the box in the initial screen become unstable if vibrations get too much, would that be a yardstick to tell you you're over the limit?

Anyone has some recommendations about PID settings etc to make a large unconventional frame hold its balance in the air? Turnigy Multistar 570KV running at 2S with 18" Props. (lower voltage than recommended for that motor, bigger props. plenty of power though) HK Redbrick 60A standard firmware....

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread

Just reflashed to latest firmware in baseflight gui and vbat stopped working. Vbat is enabled and other telemetry info is reading on Taranis. Vfas on Taranis is 0. I was getting a reading prior to the update. Voltage measures full battery on vbat pins. Voltage reads correctly on the initial setup t...

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread

For anyone interested, FrSky telemetry output from Naze32 is a simple 9600baud protocol, Vario Sensor uses it also. The soft serial port on pin 5/serial1 can easily parse/read it. So pin 6 goes into data in of vario yellow wire and pin 5 takes data out yellow wire from vario and voila. Frsky tx can ...

TC, I'm looking at your AfroMini 32 and it looks like an awesome board. I just feel like there has to be some catch. Why isn't it more popular? Or are people just missing out? Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread

Hi,

I've enabled TELEMETRY and am attempting to wire the Naze32 TX Telemetry into Data In of a Vario sensor, which then plugs into the X8R S.Port,

Can anyone tell me if that's the way?
