You should check the local laws for permitted power levels 25mW is a pretty common 5.8GHz limit in Europe. Power levels are less important than a good quality antenna pair. Each time you double tx the output this may give you a 20% to 25% improvement but that will leave you with multi path (ghosting...

Spektrum transmitters usually require somewhere around 125% before you can use stick arming.

Increase the value.

You are also in your own prop wash at that height, you need to be somewhere close to a metre before the prop wash is at a tolerable level

Re: MultiWii OSD - MWOSD

From memory if you don't have the solder pads bridged you will need to have the overlay board side powered by a 12 feed.

If the pad is bridged then the ftdi should upload absolutely fine.

If you want flashing Leeds and gps that still doesn't work then go for cleanflight

Your sticks should give a min value of 1000 and a max of 2000

Most transmitters require a setting of around 125% to achieve this.

Osprey. .. are you testing your motors from the configurator software or from the transmitter.

If it's from the transmitter then try it from the configurator.

Are you using SimonK flashed esc's or something else (biheli or something else)

I would tend to agree with nechaus as APM boards are cheap these days, you could spend ages and only get mediocre results.

My 450 with apm is perfectly happy to sit in one spot when on loiter mode and only moves a few inches (and that's usually because of windy conditions)
