Re: can multiwii fly like a DJI?
if your gps hold is working good, you can dynamically update the gps hold position by enabling AP FLIGHTMODE But this is only another way of using gps hold.. But what you speak of can be done with ardupilot.. I have used hex's on loiter mode/gps hold, and it holds the position incredibly well, from ...

Re: [CRITICAL] MultiWii jam condition
sounds like it could be your wiring or something.. try run fc from a good known ps Id be checking voltages of your becs and running though the whole thing with a magnifying glass. you really need to diagnose this and not guess and only fly it once you know what went wrong. I will not fly a quadcopte...

then start tuning gps hold...
Re: HK Talon.
I don't think its the crappy aluminium... its more the design... If you have access to a 3d printer, you can make some better motor mounts which cover more surface area on the arms.. Even on my big tarot hex, After a crash i need to double check the motor mounts to make sure they are still aligned.....

Re: I just lost my second quad
There is a bug in the navi b7 beta with the baro not turning off.. But man.. you have to expect this to happen.. I feel safe using my mini quads around the suburbs.. and I use my big 450mm + when @ fields, I use extremely over powered machines that break frames, props, bearings, batteries, ego.. Its...

while i remember, there are apps on android and probably ios to test the magnetics interference to give you a visual reference.. you can use your phone and place it near the fc and power it up and see how it responds

Re: PID tuning position hold
Guys, Your issue maybe the mag getting magnetic interference from your power cables.. I am not sayng this is your issue but its worth while keeping in mind.. I had this issue where I was getting gps lock, looked all good, but it had similar behaviour to NEROX... PIDS certainly did change the behavio...

Leaving multiwii
Well I am a bit over using multiwii, used it for the best part of two years, I was hoping for further development but it just takes to much time. I have switched APM, putting MPNG on all my boards and getting some new pixhawk gear. I love how simple multiwii is, but it really lacked fail safe featur...

Re: MultiWii EZ-GUI
I can confirm the problem,
After troubleshooting the bluetooth module was damaged in a crash. Took me some time to figure it out as i was using the bluetooth less on those particular days.
So multiwii app is still pro! thanks. sorry for wasting time

did you test the motors independently ? its possible to of created a small short with one of the phases causing terrible motor performance... you should check all motors out... I went through something similar and it was driving me nuts... found out 2 of my 4 motors are junk... phase connection seem...

Re: are there issues with the HK 328P ?
I just got one... I found if you don't calibrate the magnometer it will flip off the bat... another thing... I was using cheap motors... I added lpf filers on smoothed it right out... but I never got to properly test mine.. will report back in a few days.. I hope this board is good.. saw some great ...
