Re: MultiWii OSD - MWOSD

As some other users has problems to connect the gui after update to 1.3 i like to post my experience here. I loaded the official 1.3SP2 and got the same problem. Sketch uploaded sucessfully. GUI not connecting. OSD not sending data out. Tried even the 1.6.x arduino, then go back to 1.0.6, no differe...

Re: ACC calibration at power on?

waltr, thank you for your answer. I know this all. I am doing the calibration in the way you describe. The machine fly well. On next power on it is uncalibrated again. If i power on the machine not in flat level it does not fly good, it is uncalibrated. You understand my problem?

I know it is not recomended. I am NOT doing the acc calibration by my self. It seems to be done automatically. Or the calibration is not saved properly to the eeprom. What can i check?

Re: ACC calibration at power on?

I saw this. My units are not booting that long. All units are booting quickly.

How can i see in the gui the acc calibration is complete? Or is this information only availible from LED/Buzzer?

ACC calibration at power on?

Hi. I'm getting some problems with the ACC calibration. Is it possible the calibration is not saved properly? I have to level my wing proper before connecting the battery. The position from the power on moment is taken as flat-leveled. So seems the ACC is calibrated at power on. Or maybe the calibra...

Re: Airplane mode RTH

The LED is the same, you need to enable "only arm when flat", but i think it's not good for a plane.

Re: Airplane mode RTH

I'm not expert in ubox gps. if you dont like to change the config of the gps module so just set the baudrate in the config, and the protocol (nmea or ublox). It will work.

Re: Airplane mode RTH

Just enable failsafe in config, it will trigger RTH when lost pulses on throttle.

Arm and disarm via throttle/yaw.

Or, if you don't need the yaw channel you can use it as aux channel.

Re: Airplane mode RTH

Mag hold should work exactly as for copters. But don't use MagHold in GPS mode. I will try it on my next fly. The throttle pumping have two possible reasons. Either the plane is flying slower than 5 m/s groundspeed and compensates for that.( Usually when flying Headwind ) No, this is not the case, ...

Re: Airplane mode RTH

Hi Patrtik. First i want to thank you for the very good piece of work. I am unsing you code in my fixed wing with fpv now. I have tested the position hold and rth functions. Seems to work fine. I am not sure how the altitude hold and mag hold should work. In alt hold it's pumping the throttle up and...

Re: PRO-HUD OSD, a branch of KV Team OSD

Hi.
The development seems to go in a very good professional way. I will like it :)

What i am missing on this is a trip indicator/odometer. Maybe switchable or changeable with the flight time and the energy measurement (mAh or Wh).
