Re: Tricopter yaws uncontrollably
Reversing the servo from within the flight controller should fix the problem. If you reverse the channel in the remote it won't do anything. I've only had this problem on CC3D boards, but all you have to do there is click a yaw reverse button that fixes the problem.

Re: 10Hz GPS thread
I just plugged it in again and noticed that my I2C errors are going nuts too. I know I've seen mention of things about that in posts around the webertubes, but I can't remember what that means and/or how to fix it. So the next leg of the search begins....if anyone wants to cut that search short....p...

Upgraded GPS Ublox Neo 6M from RCtimer with EEprom. From now on, the settings won't be lost anymore. m It also has a larger 25x25 antenna. I ordered one last week. We'll see how it behaves. Got my Ublox Neo 6M from RCtimer with EEprom working after tweaking the new I2C GPS code made by EOSBandi: m ...

Re: MAX Throttle on Multiwii
Thanks! My ESCs are definitely calibrated right now, but I'm still not getting the right power output. I have two friends that bought the same components but are using a naze32 and a CC3D, and both are getting significantly more power. When I bump my max throttle 2000, I'm about on par with them, bu...

Wonky GPS
I just hooked up my I2C Board and Neo-6 GPS with U-Blox flashed on to it to my Multiwii 328p. My GPS shows a lock with its blinking LED, but when I open my config GUI, I get some pretty strange stuff. My ACC readings are frozen at near maxes, and my mag isn't reading (Gyros are working fine). I can ...

U-Blox U-Center GPS Software for MAC?
Just got my first GPS and went to flash it. The instructions I can find point to the U-blox U-center tool for flashing, but I can't find it for mac. Anyone have an alternative?

Re: How does Alt Hold really work?
After you flip into BARO, do you need to center your throttle stick? Or do you leave it where it is when you flick to BARO?

Re: 2.0 ALT PID Tuning
How did you guys cover your baro? I put some pluck and pull foam in a piece of heatshrink tubing and used contact cement on the bottom to stick it to the board. I have 0 faith it will stay on on? Is it OK to have foam directly on the baro? Has anyone just glued foam to the baro?

Thanks for your help by the way. Sometimes I try to understand there is probably no need for me to understand, but I figure most of us in this hobby are that way.....

Re: MAX Throttle on Multiwii
So these are the instructions that I've always seen around: remove props or tie copter down. setup all options in config.h to whatever suits your copter activate the define ESC_CALIB_CANNOT_FLY, possibly set high and low values for ESC calibration, if you know what you are doing compile, upload, run...

Re: MAX Throttle on Multiwii
I've always avoided the code based calibration cuz I never felt like I understood it all the way. I get the comment part, then what do I actually do to calibrate? Do I still power up with throttle up, then throttle down and power off?

MAX Throttle on Multiwii
So I've noticed that whenever I throw my MultiWii on a frame, the frame just doesn't produce the same power. Frame with stock KK2.1=Rocket. Same frame with MultiWii=BORING...but flyable....barely. I had been totally stumped until I realized that maybe I should just change the max throttle. Then I re...

Re: 10Hz GPS thread
Doh! Thanks for redirecting me to what was right in front of me! -10 points for me. I actually have one of these: m So.....if I'm understanding this right, I might be able to get mediocre to acceptable results pairing that GPS with an i2c board, but it might work (I've one person told me yay and one...

Re: 10Hz GPS thread
Ender, Thanks! That German stuff looks good! It looks like you posted the same auction twice though. Could you post the GPS antenna two? How hard is it to reprogram? I have standard ASP, FTDI, and USB direct 4 pin tools. Is there anything else special I would need, or would one of those be able to c...

Re: Low Power on MicroQuad
Sure did. Manually, 1 by 1, directly through the RX. All the levels are showing correctly through the GUI. Seems the same as everyone else complaining about it. Found another thread where some folks mentioned more than one person with this prob on 2.2 I believe it was. I was away all weekend, so nee...

Re: Low Power on MicroQuad
Did u ever get this one figured out? I'm having the same problem now, and I know it has to be board related. All I did was switch out my old KK in a quad that was working great for the multiwii and with the multiwii I have much less power. I'm wondering if it's my mounting somehow messing up the gyr...
