The new flight controller finally came in. Was playing around a little last night. Can't get the ardiuno software to connect. Downloaded the FDTI drivers, but nothing. Hopefully get to play more tonight. Was doing some reading, this will still use the same motor layout correct? I was digging around...

If your RX has failsafe memory then just select what you want to happen, such as RTH or Land & push failsafe button on RX. Mine is a Lemon 8 channel & failsafe works on all channels as soon as it detects signal loss.

Correct. I would contact HK & claim warranty. There are known issues with their MW AIOP as you will see by searching on this & RCGroups. They will probably send you another without returning faulty one if you document fault with screen shots etc. If out of warranty then buy a Crius AIOP V2/V...

It does not flash while calibrating ACC either. Does it need to be powered from the battery also while doing this? No just USB. Do your ACC X & Y values zero out in MWConfig when you start ACC Cal? If not try using MW WinGUI and see if it does. If you get no response from either then I suspect ...

Yes I saw your mission using pre 2.4. Unfortunately my experience was not the same. I didn't check Solar activity that day so although I had 7 sats (by my GPS status LED) the GPS horiz accuracy may have been bad on the day I tested. I also had issues with EZ-GUI and WinGUI so was not impressed.

Well, I've decided to skip the tests and wait for the official MW 2.4. Then IMO after it's out the data logging code should be ported into that version. I've tried the pre 2.4 and found performance, especially GPS functionality/accuracy poor. Maybe I stuffed up but don't think so. Cleared EEProm (4...

No. TX endpoints need to be 0 1500 2000. Set 1100 as Min Throttle in MW Config. The reason you need enough Min Throttle is to keep props spinning reliably & synced to prevent them stopping when throttle is set to minimum. If you need to rapidly apply power during descent you need all motors resp...
