Found this on rcgroups...is it possible my motors are spinning the wrong direction after mounting the flip 90 degrees clockwise from normal? Do I need to change motor pin assignments in addition to sensor orientation?

Uncontrollable yaw...help please
Hey guys, Just got done with a mini H quad build running a Flip 1.5 FC. I had to mount it 90 degrees clockwise to have access to the USB port, and had to make the necessary sensor orientation adjustments to account for the change. Below is the original orientation as well as what I changed it to. Pi...

Re: Changing board orientation
First determine what your standard orientation is. (search for correct board in def.h) for Example X=Y Y=X Z=-Z Rotate the Board 90 degrees Clockwise you need to CounterClockwise that in the Software. So X=Y becomes X=-X and Y=X becomes Y=Y Make you own Picture...and try to understand what happens ...

Re: Changing board orientation
So the #define reference in my last post seems like the right place to make this adjustment for a 90 degree clockwise rotation, however I'm not quite sure how the values need to be changed...I can't find anything that diagrams what X, Y, Z, -X, -Y, and -Z actually represent when looking at the board...

Re: Changing board orientation
I swore I've seen it before, but now can't find it here...not sure if I was looking for the wrong thing. I found something on another forum related to changing the #define FORCE_ACC_ORIENTATION(X, Y, Z) settings, which I'm testing. thanks

Changing board orientation
Hey guys,
What multiwii code do I have to adjust if I want to mount my board 90 or 270 degrees from "normal" forward orientation?

Minimosd voltage not displaying
Guys, I'm at my wits end with this minimosd...I just got done building out my mini FPV quad and testing the minimosd shows no voltage displaying. The voltage field displays on the OSD, but it's at 0. I have a hot lead from the power harness going to bat2 on the minim, and of course a ground from the...

Re: Baseflight motor test
No bluetooth. Tried again today and can't figure out what's going on. Seems like maybe an issue with baseflight...when the battery is connected, I can't switch from one tab to another. I just get the "Loading data" message that never refreshes to display the actual tab data.

Baseflight motor test
Hey guys, Just started working on my mini H after several months of being on hiatus from the build. I replaced a couple of ESCs and when I went to calibrate them using the motor test feature in baseflight(which I did a few months back), I realized the motor test controls don't actually spin up the m...

Re: Throttle tuning help!
ESCs were calibrated previously, but I did both anyway through the code to be safe, and it seems to have helped. Maxthrottle was set to 1850 in the config. thanks for the tip

Throttle tuning help!
Hey guys, I recently replaced a KK2 board on a mini quad with a Multiwii Flip 1.5. I notice that the throttle response using the Flip is much less sensitive than the KK was, meaning, when I punched full throttle on the KK from a hover, the quad would shoot straight up like a rocket. After upgrading ...

Flip 1.5/2.0 battery monitoring
Hey guys, Can someone confirm if there's a way to do the following with the Witespy Flip 1.5/2.0: - Connect battery buzzer for low voltage alarm - Connect the board to minimosd with battery voltage/current pinouts to display battery info on-screen From what I can see, those boards don't have serial ...

MinimOSD current sensor question
Definitely cooked the fc...it won't power from the lipo, only through the USB, so I blew one of the diodes.
I'm almost positive I pinched the power distribution board down on top of the minim and sent 12v somewhere I shouldn't.

Re: MinimOSD current sensor question
that looks fine and likely not your problem, i forgot about the video 12v thing. in the photo how come you dont have the 5v connected ? and the GRN is connected which is not needed ? also i would be double checking your video connections again (particularly the 12v parts) Thanks haydent. So you're ...

MinimOSD current sensor question
Here's how I have the attopilot wired to the minim. In case it makes a difference, I have the 5v pin coming into the minim from the fc, and am powering 12v from a separate 3s on the video side

MinimOSD current sensor question
Hi guys, Quick question regarding minimosd and current/voltage display. I've got the KV team board running their firmware...I also have an attopilot voltage/current sensor that I'm trying to use to feed battery into through the minim. I've watched a few videos of which pinouts should be used on the ...
