you need to tweak the code like that, then it works fine:

Hey folks!
I tried to get my quad running with 2.3 firmware.
The camstab does not work in 2.3 but in 2.1 it works.
I cleared the EEPROM between firmware canges and activated the camstab with multiwiicont.

Anyone got this problem too, and found a solution?
