Re: Does multiwii auto calibrate ACC on startup? How to stop
Yes, the light you are seeing is the gyro calibration confirmation. The gyro automatically calibrates every time you power up. It has nothing to do with the ACC that you calibrate in the GUI. For that, the craft needs to be level. For the gyro, level doesn't matter but being still does. If for some...

Just match the TX/RX antenna pair orientations. Both vertical or both horizontal. And have one set in one orientation and the other set different can help reduce interference. Re: MultiWii / Arduino / Error Compiling Problem !
You can try putting the Boot loader back in but this needs an ISP device.
It is possible the processor is now bad. The two options are:
1- un-solder the bad Atmel and solder on a new one and program in the boot loader.
2- buy a new MWC board.

You really need to look at the code. My guess is that it is still reading the RC channel input pins.

Re: Do you ever tune I and D for the yaw axis? Have random
First thing to check is the YAW stick's value at center. Must be exactly 1500 else it is commanding the FC to Yaw. If the TX's sticks are sloppy at center then add some Deadband (in the config.h). This can also be caused by vibrations or an ESC going bad. Yes, I do tune all the Yaw PIDs to get the s...

Use the GUI and check setup the TX's Stick end point values.
Sounds like the AUX2 values are way out and/or it is "mixed" with other functions in the TX.
Ensure the TX mode is set to "acro".
You can connect the RX AUX2 output to another input channel for testing.

For PIDs you just need to fly, adjust one value, fly again, repeat. No easy way to do this and there are NO 'easy' settings of the PIDs since every copter is different and requires different PIDs as well as pilot preference which also results in different PIDs.

Decrease the RC Rate (acts like Dual rate), maybe about 0.9 or less.
Also drop the R/P rate to less than 0.1
RC Expo at about 0.6.
Other than that you just need to Practice, practice, practice.

You just need to tune the PIDs and Rates manually, auto-tune still has issues with many copters. Tune in ACRO mode first doing the Pitch and Roll, then do the Yaw PIDs. Finally switch the Angle mode and tune the LEVEL PIDs. Also try Pid controllers 3 and 5, I like this best. Setup Profile 1 for PIDC...

It is not unusual for the battery Voltage to drop a lot when going full throttle. This will trip the battery alarm.
Happens all the time on my High performance Warp Quads especially on batteries with a lower C rating.
And yes, the Voltage will recover once the high current load is removed.
