Re: Why development has stopped?
wow, lot's of stuff going on this thread. Here are some pretty clear points that I can see IMO: move to github & decide on a *group* of people that can handle the main repo & not just one guy being the supreme overlord who decides which patch stays & which doesn't. branch, branch, branc...

When it hits critical it should already be unable to keep thrust and start falling fast

Re: MultiWii OSD - MWOSD
Interesting idea. In what scenario would this be useful? I can't think of a situation where I would need to know my home point + a waypoint unless I am doing autonomous flying and just want to see heading but it would never be the same thing twice. Just interested to see a useful purpose for this.

Re: MultiWii OSD - MWOSD
You misunderstand. I have a current sensor already so I can measure, accurately, the current at specified intervals. My question is how do you calibrate it? I haven't flashed MWOSD yet. Does anyone have screenshots of the calibration procedure?

Re: MultiWii OSD - MWOSD
Question regarding the software current emulation. Has anyone actually used it in real world. Interested to know results. How does it calibrate? Obviously you need an external current sensor hooked up to measure the current. Do you configure the current at 10%-20%-30%-etc-etc ? or do you only calibr...

Re: 2.3 is finally here :)
Are you plugging the battery in when it is level? It calibrates the GYRO every time it is powered up. Sounds like you are angling it when applying power.

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread
I believe the fake mag compass was removed if you don't have a Mag installed. That was the plan anyway. Check Baseflight Config notes. It was just updated a few days ago.

Re: baseflight configurator (win/linux/mac)
I see what you were referring too...The newer version of Baseflight Config was semi-broken with the current firmwares. On top of that my Baseflight Config wouldn't detect COM port AT ALL until I upgraded. I didn't even know there was an upgrade until someone on IRC pointed it out.

Re: baseflight configurator (win/linux/mac)
Your statement makes no sense...Baseflight Config doesn't FORCE you to upgrade, it's an option you have to select yourself... Stating you aren't going to use this because you don't want to update the firmware makes zero sense.

@Deet I am new but I don't think that would work in the situation where your Tx can't communicate anymore. If it's handled on the FC you could shut your Tx off and watch it float back to you.

YAW "issue" on Acro
We've had some discussion about this on IRC but not much ever becomes of it. If you change the YAW value higher than it is from default, for example, 0.7, when doing consecutive flips the quad YAWs left or right depending on which direction you are flipping. It also "loosens" the control. ...

@csurf You clearly are on the wrong forum if you can't deal with timecop. He can be an asshole but if one person is going to ruin your whole day you need to get off the internet. The amount of immaturity in the profane language you keep referencing in your post keeps going higher and higher. It's ju...

I believe by flip support they are referring to the Flip FC.
