issue with gyro calibration?

I have HK nanowii board with an mpu6050 imu sensor. I noticed that the gyro yaw value is constant "1" in GUI (or 8 for raw 16 bit value) when the board is horizontal and not moving at all . This causes the calculated heading to increase at a rate of 1 degree per second. Because the board t...

Re: Why development has stopped?

one by making website/wiki much better and user friendly and adding other value to the website. So that you have a social looking/feeling website and not just some flat EOL looking project page. My example on added value was a multirotor repository see: m poeple/users in this community can help bui...

Re: Why development has stopped?

Half year ago I allready stated that MultiWii should invest more in building a bigger community. http://www.multiwii.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=4558&hilit=repository This can only be done by making website/wiki much better and user friendly and adding other value to the website. So that y...

Re: Auto descent when VBat critical

however, if the failsafe triggers gps return to home then you might damage the batteries more than if it just landed immediately. Then you have not set your failsafe corretly. My point of view is that you set your failsave according to your mission objectives. When your mission is to fly in your ba...

Re: Different Yaw Speed for clockwise and counter clockwise

When you mount your motors straight on to a frame the yaw is caused by the drag of the props (rotation speed). Thats a small force that almost never provide a fast and good yaw authority. You have to make sure that the distance between the motors (pair) are exactly the same. E.g.: if distance betwee...

VTAIL configuration

As I see a vtail can be made in 4 different ways. see image: http://i60.tinypic.com/11jq7uv.jpg Is my image correct? Do the configs correspond to...

- The plan is to make a modified version of the MWC v2.3

- PID settings on the FC board are the same when flying with normal RC or with the gamepad.

Re: QuadX (Arduino Yun) controlled from laptop via WiFi

1 & 2) by default NOT.
- you would need to change the Multiwii GUI source code so it can use UDP/TCP protocol.
- or you should find some kind of TCP/IP virtual com port driver that you can install on your laptop/pc.

Re: Cannot connect to MultiWiiConf_2_1 GUI

So you uploaded the DIY Arducopter Firmware to your FC board and then you try to connect to it with the Multiwii configuration tool?? If you upload DIY Arducopter firmware to your FC then use the DIY Mission planner application. If you upload Multiwii firmware to your FC then use the Multiwii conf a...

Re: Newbie with trouble with 328p HK multiwii minthrottle

When you arm the MWii it will send the min throttle value (as set in your config file) to your motors. So on arming the motors should spin. You can lower this value to 1000 or even 900 then your motor should not spin on arming. But I think in your case you should just calibrate your ESC. When the FC...
