Re: Cleanflight aka Multiwii port to STM32 F10x and F30x
Thanks stronnag! That is exactly the information I was looking for. That said, I now have another question. Obviously the answers you gave were available somewhere. I was not able to find it. Where did you get that information? Setting the 0 bit in the rate, is not intuitive. How did you determine t...

Re: Cleanflight aka Multiwii port to STM32 F10x and F30x
I searched but could not find this mentioned in any detail that helps. Flip32+ Deluxe v5 Cleanflight 1.9.0 Tricopter The yaw servo move opposite of how it needs to move. I can invert the yaw from the TX, but Gyro/Acc correction is still reversed. The GUI has known issues with the Servo tab, so it re...

Re: Not enough Yaw authority
waltr wrote:Since this is a Tri-copter you probably need to change the Yaw Servo linkage to get more tilt movement on the Yaw motor.
That would indeed work....but.
This uses a direct drive yaw mechanism, thus, no linkage to adjust or modify.
The bottom line is, I need to increase the servo travel.

Yes. Doing so increased the rate of authority, but it does not increase the maximum yaw rate I can reach, which is my goal.

Not enough Yaw authority
I have a Tri I am flying on MW 2.3. It performs OK and is stable, but I just can't get as much Yaw rate as I would like. Even at full rudder input, it still yaws a lot slower than I would like. I know this is mostly caused by the travel limits of the yaw servo. I'm using this servo for yaw control m...

Increase Servo output to 750-2250
I know the normal range of servo output is set to 1020-2000. I have a servo that I have tested with an Arduino that can safely handle 750-2250. I am planning on using this servo as part of a Tilt only Cam Stabilizer. In Config.h you can configure the Center, Min, and Max with this block: /**********...

MW Conf Servo tab not working
I've asked this question as part of another thread, but I want to start this as it's own thread. Here is the problem: Both the Tail servo on my Tricopter and the Tilt servo on my Camera stabilizer can not be calibrated or limited using the sliders on the Servo Tab. Yes, I do have control on the Mult...

... If it's possible adjust servos center from GUI then the settings is possible to save to Eeprom. It sounds like your FC don't receive the settings from Gui. Use V2.3 Both MWii & MWii config. Exactly!! I am using both MWii and MWii config v2.3. So we are in complete agreement there. I don't m...

Re: General servo handler - almost done
I know this is a bit dated, but this thread is the closest thing I have found that addresses what I am dealing with. Because of this thread, I found out how to use the GUI to set up an AUX ch to control the center of the Tilt servo for my gimbal. Well, at least in theory. See, it doesn't change anyt...

This is the nature of MultiWii. 37 reads and no replies. The documentation for this amazing code is woefully lacking. So, here is what I found after digging through it on my own. As I figured, getting Camera Stabilization working and being able to control the center around which the camera stabilize...

I'm going to take a shot here, but I'm not 100% positive this is the issue. Try moving the power and ground connection to the power and ground from the Battery connection on the receiver to the Throttle. That is how it is shown on this image from ReadyToFlyQuads. http://i1263.photobucket.com/albums/...

You may wan to try it without the Mag enabled.
Reloading the board can't really hurt, so I say, go for it.

You can also reverse servo direction via config.h. But to find it you must read the comments in config.h and maybe even follow the link to the wiki. Please, do not lead others to follow your path in editing code unneccessarily. It will only lead to more erraneous situations and irritated questions....

I had the exact same issue when I replaced my failed Turnigy TGY-5009OM with a HiTec HS-5055MG. As it turns out, HiTec servos rotate backward than most servos. It took me a bit of digging to find this out. So, here is what is needed in MW 2.3 to make things work. In Config.h, the entry below ONLY se...
