Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread

Mr Timecop + friends, A feature request: could you please implement some flashing lights for stick-based gyro calibration on the AfroMini? I know there are fewer lights on the AfroMini, but something -- anything -- flashing during the gyro calibration process would really help the flier see what's g...

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread

midrc... Yes, I'm a Futaba user and set midrc=1520. I also rechecked the midpoints via Baseflight and adjusted subtrim so that ail/ele/rud were at 1520 (with end-points 1000/2000) at neutral. Throttle endpoints were adjusted to range from 1000 to 2000. All of the above was done before I ran into th...

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread

Encountered an unexpected problem today when switching a quadcopter's FC from AcroNaze to AfroMini. I use SimonK ESCs without any post-flashing calibration, so the AcroNaze had set: set minthrottle=1064 set maxthrottle=1864 set mincommand=1000 ...and this worked fine, just as expected - all motors w...

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread

are you running latest fw. there was some servo offset fix lately. but I think that was for planes only. I updated via Baselight GUI, reconfigured by settings as before, and now the RX switch works. For the record, I tried replicating my quad multirotor setups by setting the mixer to quadx, and in ...

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread

Hi everyone, Having some troubles with channel forwarding and an RX-controlled switch. I'm using CPPM and Naze32 on a tricopter. I've got gimbal_flags=4 set, and a receiver-controlled switch (for a headlamp) with its signal line connected to the pin for channel 6 when forwarding is enabled. The tran...

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread

Thanks guys. I disconnected the +5V lines from the ESCs and connected the BEC to a spare lot of pins next to the 4 motor connections. Naze and RX seem to be getting power a-okay. :)

Any comments about the buzzer-on-arm question?

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread

Hi all, New to Naze32 but slowly getting things together. I've got a few questions and thought it'd be an idea post them publicly rather than pester timecop any more during his break. Firstly, is there a setting way to make the buzzer beep when arming/disarming? Second, are the positive/negative pow...
