Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread

Hey guys - My Rev 4 naze32 board seems to be acting strange. I was setting it up a few nights ago for an airplane config and it was working fine. Today I came back to it and it won't power on via a battery. ie. no leds light up when I plug the battery in and ofcourse it doesn't respond to any rx com...

Re: MultiWii OSD - MWOSD

I have flashed to this firmware from KVOSD and I love it! Quick question relating to configuring the RSSI though. In the OSD menu what is the procedure for setting the min and max RSSI? I don't get the ADC RSSI values in the OSD only the %. Correct me if I am wrong but to set max RSSI value I use th...

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread

Hello, I have a problem with my new rev5 acro naze. When i plug the usb cable in, the naze shows a solid blue light(power). There is no initialization (blinking of other leds). Its a brand-new Naze. All I have done was soldering the pinheaders. When i tried updating the firmware via baseflight gui ...

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread

How did it make it on there? Because non-flashable board would have been noticed when I was flashing it, and solder (if any) removed. Not sure mate but I accept it could have somehow got there when I was soldering the pins to the board. I will try and remove the solder tonight and see if the board ...

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread

Hmm I think I might have worked out what the problem is. There is a blob of solder on the legs of the STM32 chip (top side of board).

I'm not at home at the moment to test if cleaning this up will fix up the issue or if the board is toast now.

Re: baseflight configurator (win/linux/mac)

Not really a question for this thread as it has nothing to do with configurator, but turn off auto-connect, short bootloader pads w/paperclip, apply power/USB, then check noreboot sewquence and flash firmware. Sorry, I thought it might have been related to the software. I tried shorting the bootloa...

Im back again I bought another naze32 acro rev 5 board (because this FC is awesome) and this one is not connecting to baseflight configurator. I can connect my other Naze32 acro rev5 board to my Windows VM machine and it works fine (so I know its not drivers) but this new board is not recognised. I ...

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread

Have you tried tuning on your Tx? Sound like you may have a rudder expo... Why not decrease yaw rates? I have positive expo dialled in on the yaw via the TX as I mentioned and its fine but was wondering if it could be done via the software on the FC itself. I always prefer doing as much on the FC a...

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread

I have just setup a rev5 Naze32 acro board on a 250mm quad and wanted to get some help smoothing out the yaw around the center stick. I have the yaw rate set at 0.8 and basically the problem I am having is that the yaw is sluggish around the center of the stick and at the ends it spins really fast (...

Any other suggestions guys?

The board connected first go on a Windows VM and I flashed the firmware etc but it would be handy if I could use it natively on OSX.

Thanks

What baud rate do you have selected deleted? Maybe you can open Terminal, plug in the board and type "sudo dmesg" and copy and the lines with "CP210" in them and post them here? Sorry for the late reply. I have been away for the weekend. Baud rate is set at 115200. Here is the c...

Is there any other driver I require? Strange since it connects fine in MultiwiiConf 2.3.

No I cannot.
I click on Load Firmware (Online) and it says - "Remote firmware loaded ready for flashing"
Then I click on Flash Firmware and nothing happens.
