Re: Naze32 clone, no LED's, no response from bootloader
The serial port is always going to be identified by the pc with or without a firmware because it is an external chip on the board (Silicon Labs CP210x). Probably you can use the built in bootloader over serial port to load baseflight. To do so, you need to boot the uC from system memory, this is don...

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread
Hia How can i enable low voltage buzzer? - I can switch it on/off with one of my RC channels but I want it to work as a low voltage alarm. Any command should be sent to enable this function? Thanks. Looks like it is enabled by default. Are anyone of you able to notice the buzzer noise when the moto...

Re: Alternative ESC firmware (reflashing)
I am interested in loading wii-esc in Afro ESC 30A. The fact is that I am having problems with Afro + Simonk + D3530-14 motors. There is not a HAL for this ESC, but based on Simonk HAL, a wii-esc HAL is quite easy. I have created one, but it is not tested . Can anyone take a look at the code and tel...
Re: Flip 32
I am not saying it is the best way to go, but since the best option is eliminating GND and VCC from all -1 ESC to avoid problems or eliminate it from all and use an external BEC, I don't think it is a big problem doing the swap. About the reset, R3 and C4 which go to pin7 This is the startup reset. ...

To provide a "clean" voltage for sensores, or to avoid noise.

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread
Hi all, New to Naze32 but slowly getting things together. I've got a few questions and thought it'd be an idea post them publicly rather than pester timecop any more during his break. Firstly, is there a setting way to make the buzzer beep when arming/disarming? Second, are the positive/negative po...

@scrat, he wants you to abuse it so you have to buy a new one
. Nah, current in this passive PDB is all about temperature. Unless you go too far and burn the board. Try it for a small amount of time and after that measure temperature.

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread
You are right. I would clean the burnt part of the board with a sharpen tool to avoid the trace (The part is left) make contact with the plane. After that, use a thin wire to connect the two pins marked in the picture. And if you want to do it perfect, use some non conductive glue to glue the wire t...

Re: Flip 32
This board is not a fail at all.
Reverse 5v and gnd might be done to simplify board layout.
The schematic is 99% similar to naze32 but the µC is not so good Cap decoupled.
Which leads me to a question: Where is the reset circuit in Naze32 schematic?
