Re: Paris FC HELP!!

Just checked the FTDI red and green light flash when connected to the GUI. dOH!
When you connect does the correct type show up. IE quad X?
I have the Paris V3 board so don't know if there is a diff.
Cheers

Re: Paris FC HELP!!

Hi I think if you were able to upload the sketch to the board then the FTDI seems to be working. I would check for the usual Com ports, baud rate settings for the arduino side. Then check the multiwii GUI com ports etc is correct. Are you getting any info from the Board showing up in the GUI apart f...

I was thinking it could double up as a weed trimmer :D
Have heard it eliminates the frame from the downwash.

Re: FTDI to pro mini problem.

Looks like there is a problem with the sixth wire/connector which is DTR signal, it resets the processor to start the bootloader. That's exactly what you do manually but the timing is critical. Check you wiring/pin/socket/etc., cannot give more specific advice since I don't know which FTDI adapter ...

Phone taped to Quad as Camera!

Don't know what went wrong here but I used phone as a camera.
WiFI, GPS, BT etc turned off to be safe..
Seemed to loose control and had a near miss with the planet.
Caught it just in time :geek: and landed.

FTDI to pro mini problem.

Hi all. First off I am new to this and am having a great time building and then crashing my Quad. Having some trouble when uploading software to the board. Arduino compiles fine, then when I upload it comes back with a sync error. No TX or RX lights on the FTDI, just three quick red flashes. Happens...
