Re: Cleanflight aka Multiwii port to STM32 F10x and F30x
Hi, just a short question. As weather is getting better now I would like to give cleanflight a shot but don´t have a proper flightcontroller available. Which one would be the best one for cleanflight (in terms of properly tested & performance) ? Naze32v5 ?

Re: Why development has stopped?
IMHO the point is: Here are some heated discussions going on about features, future etc., but the people in power are have lost their interest or got back to real life, letting die this project slowly or by funny decisions. And as the fork-maintainers dont get agreed on a common position they will a...

Re: Why development has stopped?
Ok, good to hear you are taking some actions
But nevertheless the performance & user-friendliness isnt the best anymore.
No hope that one of the maintainers might freshen the environment (as to often called move to github and its surrounding features ) ??

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread
Oh, i know of fc´s that also might still need soldering I´m sure you´ll get them with wires if you are willing to pay for it. But no problem, in this hobby I like to decide which wires I´m using. But ok, those fc´s aren´t that pricey if you know where to buy. But a naze32 is also sold for more than ...

Re: Why development has stopped?
Hey 'Frank', I think I know you who are (monkey avatar on rcg, right?), this isn't about 32bit or github, its about alex (and other avr-8bit-project-maintainers) having a much easier way to review, accept, and merge patches from other developers INTO THE CURRENT 8BIT MULTIWII BRANCH. Right now shit...

Re: Why development has stopped?
... gazillion advantages a move would have. Think about it. The current topic is about original MWC, an avr-project. point. And yes, advantages, but why do you write *would* ? There is no "would", the move has already happened ! You have github & 32bit ! You (not in person, but 32bit)...

Re: Why development has stopped?
Well, its not only about Keil and its licence. I´m sure that, beside that, there are also other reasons why the 32bit section isn´t proceeding as fast as you might think when you read all the people here preaching the 32bit world. "They" have the superior 32bit, github, etc. . But I think ...

Re: Why development has stopped?
So, as usual. Everyone´s free to contribute stuff. I hope github will be an option for mwc as it might ease contribution for some people who would like to stick to "old" stuff. For the rest, theres 32bit baseflight on github, feel free to contribute there. Have fun over there. No need to a...

Re: Why development has stopped?
Yup, stm32 might ease a lot of things for the devs. But for the average joe it seems as 32bit hasn´t made the rapid progression we where told a year ago. Nor it seems that all the freetime-devs are happily accepting the 32bit stuff. For GPS, waypoint etc. some people are already looking at pixhawk a...

Re: Why development has stopped?
BTW,
its good that such a debate on principles is still possible here. Makes me feel that MWC is not dead yet (and might even outlast other projects)

Re: Why development has stopped?
It is true that doing everything with float/int32, with the exact trigonometry, with the full resolution everywhere, will give a better result and is conceptually cleaner. What I'm saying and is hard to admit for purists: the expected "better result" is unnoticeable in a real flight. Bein...

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread
Lol, too bad you didn´t get stuck at some (maybe stupid) point with your naze32. I bet you would have been ranting tc etc. also in uppercase. lol. And yeah, opensource is absolutely about not asking stupid questions... I´m sure you are a linux-expert who never seeked some help in boards, just postin...

Re: Why development has stopped?
I think they got dull after getting dissed for codingstyle etc. over and over again by the "experts". Or maybe they just moved further to shiny new projects ?

Re: MultiWii EZ-GUI
Just a short question, is it planned (or already included and not visible to me?) to incorporate the DYNBALANCE-Feature from MW2.3 ? I think its a very useful tool to minimize the vibrations getting to the gyro/acc, especially in combination with the logging-feature... as I can try different props/s...

Re: Vib Test version
Hi, I really think the new dynamic balancing tab is very useful for minimizing vibs. I´ve tested it successfully on a nanowii with hacker-style motors without any problems. But I would love to see some numbers I could save in a spreadsheet for checking back which prop-position was the best one. Woul...
