Re: MultiWii OSD - MWOSD
I'm finishing configuring my new hex with MultiWii 2.4 and MWOSD 1.4, and everything else seems to be working fine except getting the amperage from the flight controller. I have a hardware voltage+current sensor connected to the FC and I can see correct voltage and amperage readings in MultiWiiConf ...

Re: Changing MINTHROTTLE has no effect
Do you have MOTOR_STOP enabled in config.h? If you have, the controller only raises the output from MINCOMMAND to MINTHROTTLE when you start to actually give it some throttle.

Re: MultiWii OSD - MWOSD
Hi, are the macosx and linux OSD GUI apps supposed to work at all? I just flashed MWOSD 1.1 on a MinimOSD board from ReadyToFlyQuads and I'm trying to configure it, but the macosx app silently refused to run on my Mac and the linux directories didn't contain anything that could be executed on Linux...

Re: Motor power reducing
If you haven't already, you could plug the ESCs one at a time directly into the RC receiver's throttle output (with the copter tied down) and test the motors one by one with a fully manual throttle signal. That should at least help verify whether you have a bum ESC or motor, or whether the problem i...

Re: Taking off like a rocket, near impossible to control
I had somewhat similar problems with my quad (14x4.7 props, 1500 g AUW). For me the key turned out to be reducing the MAXTHROTTLE value (from default 1850 to 1650) so that the quad would hover at 50% throttle without expo. That completely changed the behaviour and made the quad reasonably controllab...

Re: Need help for BARO tuning
Ok, here's what happened next... Because of the overshoots downwards that had happened, I checked my maxthrottle setting and it was a bit low at 1600 (I had added some weight) so I increased it to 1650. Then I tried BARO hold again and now the quad was overcorrecting upwards even beginning from stab...

Need help for BARO tuning
I have MultiWii 2.2 installed on MultiWii PRO board in my Quad with 14x4.7 props and about 1600 g AUW. I initially had some tuning problems but after reducing the maxthrottle in config.h to 1600, the quad started flying pretty nicely with almost everything else at defaults. Now I have a bit of a pro...
