Do you have MOTOR_STOP enabled in config.h? If you have, the controller only raises the output from MINCOMMAND to MINTHROTTLE when you start to actually give it some throttle.

Hi, are the macosx and linux OSD GUI apps supposed to work at all? I just flashed MWOSD 1.1 on a MinimOSD board from ReadyToFlyQuads and I'm trying to configure it, but the macosx app silently refused to run on my Mac and the linux directories didn't contain anything that could be executed on Linux...

If you haven't already, you could plug the ESCs one at a time directly into the RC receiver's throttle output (with the copter tied down) and test the motors one by one with a fully manual throttle signal.
