Re: Want complete guide to FC board mounting orientation val

shy would that be a problem? Simply do not force a new mag orientation in the config and be done? that's what I thought and done first. But it simply does not worked out, so I tried a lot of MAG_ORIENTATIONs without success. I noticed in the process, that the heading data changed much stronger to r...

Re: Want complete guide to FC board mounting orientation val

Hamburger, Does that mean that mounting my crius se board on its side along the inside of a plane is impossible? There's no way to adjust sensor orientation by 90 degree increments in the code? spag no, I think you can mount it on any side of a cube. I've done it with a flip mega board in a mini sk...

Hello, Even if i increase the minimum throttle in the GUI, the quadri is not stabilize when is going down and my throttle stick is in the minimum position. try the opposite: lower min throttle to the value, where the motors just start turning. If min throttle is to high, the controller has no room ...

@Schnupperm – updated main trunk: “Default” (current standard at vanilla gui install) “Default large” – yours cool “Default bold” – current 1.4 large. Maybe more towards more black background / clear contrast. I have found this of some benefit on mini quad fast flying in noisey environment. Brain i...

Re: MultiWii OSD - MWOSD

may I add a feature request? Two things which I found to be useful from my patched 1.2 Version: - match the AHI (artificial horizon) to the real horizon in pitch and especially roll. You need one factor for the pitch and one for the roll angle which can be adjusted via stick menu, so they can be eas...

Nice job Really like it. Think its better than the current large font Would like to include as a font option within the package for others to use. Would you be OK with this. hi,

I'm happy that I can upload new fonts again! So I sat down and made a new font which is bigger than the default font, but also slim, so that the landscape can not hide behind the text ;-)

hi,

as I find it some times hard to read the numbers of the default font on my display and the large front is to bold, I only made the digits bigger but as transparent as possible.

Bug in font upload

hi, after 2 days I finally got the fonts from and with the 1.4.1 version uploaded. The problem seems to be, that the firmware and the GUI use a baud rate of 115200, but the part that does the font uploading uses 38400. After countless tries it worked instantly as I change the baud rate in config.h a...

Re: problem with rotated FC but MAG still horizontal

for clarification: my FC is not rotated around the yaw axis, but the roll axis: from "_" to "|". Only the MAG on the GPS stays in the original orientation "_".
The code you quoted is for the special case of 45 degree rotation, so I think it would not help in my case.

problem with rotated FC but MAG still horizontal

hi, to make my FC (Flip Mega from readytoflyquads) fit in my plane, I've had to rotate it 90 degrees around the roll axis. The mag sensor is on the GPS board, so it's orientation remains flat. I fixed the new sensor orientations for GYRO and ACC via FORCE_[GYRO|ACC]_ORIENTATION (the plane flies grea...

Is it recommended to send a full 5v to the processor?

yes
If so, where should I connect the supply?

Re: Battery Monitoring Problems on Multiwii Pro

if the red multwii pro board from HK gets its power via the motor control output, the voltage for the processor is only 3.9 V. So 3.9 Volt is the maximum voltage it can measure on any analog input.

I am wondering why my debug goes to zero when I go higher than 25 or 30 cm. Any ideas on what could be going on? Try to power the sensor from the BEC and not from the FC. The HC-SR04 seems to be power hungry and needs 5V to get good readings. (look here: http://www.multiwii.com/forum/viewtopic.php?...

Hello, first of all, thanks for that nice OSD. Last weekend I tried to add something like a flight path vector to the 1.2 release. one thought about EXTENDED_AUX_STATES: I think it would be simpler to dial in a specific state, if there where only 5 states. I have my AUX channel on a slider and had problems to select state 2 or 3 and 4 or 5 without looking at my transmitter.

1. and 2. are wrong. You don't need to change the BaroPID range to get a faster descend and ascend rate. Simply change the 3 512 values to something smaller and the quad will ascend/descend faster. Thank you. I changed the 512 to 128 the day before I posted, but it does not changed the climb rate. ...
