Thanks,
set mag_hardware = 3
turns off the MAG sensor (red instead of green).
Also, now in the setup screen, the model follows the movement of the quad and doesn't try to slowly return to the initial orientation. Neat.

Re: Mag sensor defective?
Not sure if it works, but there was a recent addition "set mag_hardware = 0" scouring through the code, it looks like "3" disables. Again, I'm not sure if it works... Guess it should make the MAG turn red in Baseflight Configurator if it works. EDIT: Nevermind... option 3 looks ...

Re: Mag sensor defective?
mag lines jumping around in sensor graphs = its toast. remove it + use external or just don't enable anything mag related (i.e headfree etc) The configurator still thinks the MAG is working. Is there a way to tell it not to use the MAG sensor? I ask as the model view in the configurator will always...

Mag sensor defective?
rev5 red board, latest firmware Previously I notice the mag sensor was acting erratic. The model image in the configurator would jump around and the raw sensor data for MAG would have drastic swings with the quad stationary. Now, there is no change in the MAG sensor data unless I bring a magnet clos...

Re: Call for full PID settings tutorial!!
Tuning PID like : set I&D=0, increase P until wobble, reduce a bit, set D to reduce overshoot, finally add some I to keep steady state… is true for a « conventional/classic/standard » PID control loop : m Tuning pid values in multiwii is not that intuitive as we don’t really know how the PID co...

Re: Possible to connect GPS over BT?
It's a 5hz GPS. I don't think the BT mouse can be switched to host mode though. Can the BT dongle be a host?
This is the BT dongle...

Possible to connect GPS over BT?
I have the HK multiwii 328P along with a BT dongle. I've been able to connect my android phone to it with Multiwii EZ-GUI. I also have one of these... m It's a BT GPS "mouse". Is it possible for the multiwii to communicate with the BT mouse to get gps coordinates? I thought I'd ask since I...

Multiwii Lite V1.0 help, please
Hi all, Trying to get my tri setup. I had a KK2 but it died after a few minutes (another story) and now it's back ordered anyway. So I wanted to start with a cheap flight controller with no LCD to make it more robust. I bought this FC from rctimer, and didn't buy a FTDI controller with it. I did get...
