Re: Tricopter Yaw Servo Twitches and Burns up
I also have a very similar problem. I am using the NanoWii (atmega 32u4) I tried it with two different high quality digital MG servos and both had the same problem. The symptoms are: Right after I plug in the battery the servo goes crazy and eventually heats up. I can move the servo with my fingers ...

Re: MWC MultiWii SE V3.0 Flight Control Board Information
I have also bought this board hoping, that it would have a barometer and compass, but they are missing. I think I'm going to send it back.

Re: I got speed wobbles - Fixed, and advice
I had the same problem on my scratchbuilt quad. Was very stable on hover, but if I started flying forward it would shake like crazy. My solution was to change to the new PID controller in MW 2.3.

Re: OpenLRSng in multiwii
The problem is that there no one has made a PPM receiver. By using the 9ch or even the 6ch receiver you add unnecessary weight and use a lot of space in your multi. I know it's not much on a normal sized quad, but it does make a difference on the small 230mm Quads. If there was a small PPM receiver,...

Re: V2.2 - ACRO PID implementation is wrong, right?
I also tried out PID controller 2 and I'm looking forward to try FPV flying with it. The tuning was somehow easier than the original (or maybe I have changed). I made the mistake, that I enabled angle mode with the original LEVEL P and I value and it immediately started oscillating, which got out of...

OpenLRSng in multiwii
It would be really nice if the OpenLRSng code would be integrated in MultiWii, so that we only need a RFM22B module. I know one of the old original OpenLRS codes is integrated in MultiWii, but kha's OpenLRSng code is much better.
Has anyone thought about this? Has anyone done it? Would you use it?

Re: Recovery after a propeller loss
Well it is theoretically possible with a 9dof sensor, or also maybe without a compass if the yaw is calculated from the gyro. The goal is not to control the copter, but to safely (auto)land it with the loss of yaw control.

Recovery after a propeller loss
I have seen this article about a quad being able to land safely with a propeller loss: http://www.suasnews.com/2013/12/26266/e ... ller-loss/
I am no code artist, but is there a chance, that this will be implemented in Multiwii?

Re: Throttle Pid Attenuation (TPA) Explaination Please
This would also interest me. edit. I found this: And if you have oscilations at Hihgspeed. You can use Throttle PID attenuation in the gui. It's a dynamic PID dampener active between half and full throttle. If you set ex. 0.40 it will deduce PID effect with 40% att full throttle. http://www.multiwii...

Re: Vib Test version
It would also be great if we could add a photoresistor with a laser or something similar to exactly measure which side of the prop/motor is heavier and display this information in the gui. What do you think?
