My quad wobble descending and changing direction
I'm still try to get the perfect PID settings. BTW now my quadcopter after a lot of trial/error it's quite stable. If it goes up, wind moves my quadcopter. If I try to compensate wind effect, my quad wobble a lot, the same goes when i put throttle a little down to make it descescending. Fast movemen...

How to protect barometer?
I was trying my quadcopter with altitude hold. It seems to work, but I guess that I should protect freeimu barometer from wind: I put a small plastic dome over boards, but air can freely enter from below. Is there a way to "insulate" barometer? Any advice?

charge radio aa batteries: how to?
I have a sanwa transmitter, that works with six AA batteries. I see there's a plug on left to charge them keeping them inside. Which charger should I plug??

Re: Call for full PID settings tutorial!!
If P is too high quad wobbles very fast. If I is to high quad wobbles very slow. That's it. So you must play with PID's to make your copter wobble free. Good video for P and I tunning: m That's good! But doesn't describe d, and pid for alt and mag. We need something like this, but more complete and...

Re: Call for full PID settings tutorial!!
French friend video, has subtitles only for roll pitch yaw pid, not for altitude e mag (there's a video, but no subtitle).
A centralized/official wiki page will be more useful btw

Re: Call for full PID settings tutorial!!
The issue with PID tuning in my opinion, there is no set way of doing it. I have shared my way of doing it in the past and was ridiculed. So I don't bother any more. I will share this, the major mistake is believing using the default PID setting is some badge of honor, it is not. Each copter is an ...

Call for full PID settings tutorial!!
I'm looking for a guide on how to set pid values (for all params - not only roll pitch yaw). Most of tutorial are outdated (use old multiwii gui) and I find just one full tutorial (it's a video-tutorial on yt) but where author speak in french, so I can't understand what he's saying. I wonder if some...

Config for noob at first flight
Ok, it was actually the second flight. My first flight was a disaster. It goes up, but it was unbalanced and it crashed on wall. Brake 3 out of 4 props. Now, I won't crash other propellers too. Which is the easier flight mode / configuration for a noob? On MultiWiiConf, should I check angle mode, ma...

Stable vs Acro, how?
I read a lot of people speaking about acro and stable mode, but how can I set this modes? I want to do my first fly with a stable mode, that seems less crash-prone than acro one. I got a freeimu 4.3 with mag baro gyro & acc. I guess there's a way to switch "autolevel" on/off using aux1...

Mistake with radio?
I feel I did a mistake. My quadcopter is almost complete.
I bought a radio, but on manual there's no mentions to throttle - roll -pitch - yaw - mode. It seems a radio for plane. It say landig gear, rudder, throttle, aileron, elevator. Is there a way to make it works?
