Very weird.

Do you have video of it doing it? Sure you don't have low battery cut off or soft-off enabled in ESCs? I guess not.. but still, it doesn't sound like FC related, although swapping to CC3D would indicate it is FC related.

If you're not using cTn's excellent Baseflight Configurator for flashing and configuring Baseflight, then you're doing it wrong. TC himself uses Baseflight Configurator for flashing each board before shipping.

Witterings, have you looked at the manual ? Motor order is important, so look it up. Did you check the manual? You just need to connect Rx/Tx to RC Pins 4 and 5 (not necessarily in that order) and ground and +5v to any of the gnd/+5v headers. You'll of course need to configure it in CLI as well for your particular GPS.

Yes, you connect to those Tx/Rx pins, note that they are shared with the USB interface due to lack of real USARTs until Naze64pro SMP edition.

KV Team 2.2 works fine with Naze32/Baseflight. I think you need to enable Boxnames or something in the KV Team OSD GUI setup, but YMMV.
