Re: Is multiwii practical as a Helicopter FBL controller?

Can it perform as well as many of the commercial FBL controllers out there? Unfortunately NO! I use different commercial FBL controllers like V-Stabi, Microbeast and AC3X. All of them are way better than Multiwii. But if you consider the price, Multiwii is unbeatable. To get a quite good result, Mu...

Re: Building MultiWii in Eclipse

Hello I'm trying to change to eclipse IDE. I am able to compile my multiwii project successfully, but I have problems with programming the device. I have a Nanowii Board (atmega32u4). I made the AVRDude settings as recommended in wiki (Programmer: Arduino, Baud:57600). I receive the following error ...

Re: Helicopter integration

No gyro smoothing (I was playing around with smoothing, but this function was not working as expected. With smoothing there is almost no servo movement at all). I set the LPF of MPU6050 to 20Hz. Result is pretty good. PID Values are shown in attachment. In compare to others I have lower values. It's...

Re: MultiWii 2.2 is released

I succesfully tested 2.2 in helicopter mode. But I had to decrease the P-values around 20% on all axes. Because I had oscillations.

Is this normal behavior when updating from 2.1 to 2.2?

Re: Helicopter integration

Just another success story. My first Multiwii project is a 450 size Heli controlled by Nanowii hardware. Its flying very nice. But I have some general questions: 1. ESC is connected directly to receiver. As actuators there are only the 4 servos connected to the Nanowii. So I dont care about arm/disa...
