This design from 2011 works great with this firmware. I redesigned the PCB and going to make some prototypes. If there is interest I can publish the design. (after I test the prototypes) Its a very robust and cheap design on a double sided board. Al the credits for the good Quality are for ziss_dm !...

Yes,

I have tried with different copters.

With one parameter (tune) I have left pot for level PID en right pot for gyro PID.

After landing I save the settings en disable the "Tune" parameter.

- 9.6k bps data rate
- Multiple channels
- 27dBm Max. output power
- Baud rate configurable
- 256 bytes data buffers
- Standby current < 5uA
- Supply voltage 4.7~8V

9.6k bps data rate is not much.

@EOSBandi

Great idea,

Now it's time for me to make a 2560 Multiwii board.
(low cost to keep Multiwii mind).

It is Alex idea to keep the arduino IDE and to keep it simpele.
So ATMega2560 is a good choice.

Building your own esc is not lowcost.
This is my own Nfet ESC using good components.
Buying in china is cheaper.
The intension of Multiwii is to build a cheap good working quadrocopter.
If I make 1000 esc's it's still not lowcost.
