Try lowering the the throttle to 0% as soon as you hear the first beep after power up, do not wait for the other beeps, as it usually means the ESC entered programming mode. Hope this helps.

The v2 module has a built-in EEPROM chip to permanently store your configuration, which will make it a bit difficult to reset to default/factory settings. Ah..very interesting. I didn't know those type of pcb contact rivets were readily available. It does making double sided DIY pcbs a little bit easier; you don't need to solder thin wires through the vias anymore. Do you need any special tool to put the rivets in place?

I noticed the stick movement response is affected by PID settings on roll/pitch. Try increasing the P values and lowering the D values and see if you get better response.

It is not mandatory. You can connect the sensors (via level converter if needed), receiver pins, motor esc connections to arduino uno/mini/mega directly. Or you can make your own pcb board to achieve the same. Paris board just organizes the connections for you, similar to what an arduino shield does...

Have you done a continuity test between the Arduino PRO Mini (respective) pins and receiver PITCH/ROLL channel pins? Are you using a pre-fabricated board or a home made board to connect the arduino to the receiver?

Isolating the sensors from vibration results in improved stability of the flight. You may also consider soft foam tapes to attach the sensor/controller board to the quad body which blocks body vibration to be transmitted to the sensors by a big margin.

@Jussi, Hamburger is absolutely right about the tx,rx,3v3 and Gnd pins. And yes arduino rx should be connected to BT module tx and arduino tx should be connected to BT module rx.
