Hi, What is the easiest way to only deactivate ROLL autolevel. PID for ROLL & PITCH are separate, but the PID for LEVEL is for ROLL & PITCH toghether. What i want to obtain, is that only PITCH is returning to its 0-reference level not the ROLL, so basically gyro only PID for ROLL. Thanks, manu

Hi Ezio,

for a MultiWii 2.2
I have the unlocked version 3.94.148 on a Asus tablet. I can't save (to eeprom) the PID values, all readings are correct and working.
On my HTC phone i have an older (free version 3.7.123) and there saving to eeprom is working!

Still have this question:
Are ALL Gui settable parameters settable in the 3 profiles? In other words, can I have 3 sets of all PIDS/rates/… etc.?
If yes, how to set them via the gui, what is the sequence to save the profiles.

I know how to change profiles (0,1,2) via stick, but could not setup different profiles in the GUI!
and I still don’t know what parameters are or can be part of a profile?

Yes, this is what i want to achieve with "multiple profiles"

Via aux switch (inflight or if this is not possible unarm/arm), have different rates, and if possible PID too!
Is this is how "multiple profiles" works?

In original release 2.3, are only these values : int16_t accZero[3]; and int16_t magZero[3];affected by MULTIPLE_CONFIGURATION_PROFILES in readGlobalSet();?

I still don't get the "big advantage" of using MULTIPLE_CONFIGURATION_PROFILES .

Can't you program it as a "trigger", when "on-off" = "off-on" triggers the function MISSION, PH, RTH, ... whatever the previous function is, PILOT is still in control and not the "pre-programmed" logic.

That was the purpose of I2C_GPS_NAV, and is abonded... sad IMO. Now all is separated in code files, but treated by 1 cpu.

If GPS needs IMU information, then it is another story.

My test-board:
QuadX, Crius-Lite, Futaba 6 channels

Cleared eeprom, uploaded fw, calibrated acc, arming =>
    not all motors start,
    1 motor even unarmed gets jerky signal,

Alternative:
Change the values in memory without storing in eeprom. Land, and only the save to eeprom.

What kind of filter is currently applied in ver2.2 for the mag filter?

I managed to get rid of violent mag spikes at hoover, now there is still a constant ripple (GUI). Can this further be filtered?

Hi,
What explains the “circling” effect while tuning GPS position hold PID’s. (quad starts to make larger and larger clockwise circles around the pos –hold position)
Is it possible that it comes from the vector calculations where the calculated projections are distributed on a “circle”…
