Hi, What is the easiest way to only deactivate ROLL autolevel. PID for ROLL & PITCH are separate, but the PID for LEVEL is for ROLL & PITCH toghether. What i want to obtain, is that only PITCH is returning to its 0-reference level not the ROLL, so basically gyro only PID for ROLL. Thanks, manu

Still have this question:
Are ALL Gui settable parameters settable in the 3 profiles? In other words, can I have 3 sets of all PIDS/rates/… etc.?
If yes, how to set them via the gui, what is the sequence to save the profiles.

I know how to change profiles (0,1,2) via stick, but could not setup different profiles in the GUI!

Yes, this is what i want to achieve with "multiple profiles"
Via aux switch (inflight or if this is not possible unarm/arm), have different rates, and if possible PID too!

In original release 2.3, are only these values : int16_t accZero[3]; and int16_t magZero[3];affected by MULTIPLE_CONFIGURATION_PROFILES in readGlobalSet();?

Can't you program it as a "trigger", when "on-off" = "off-on" triggers the function MISSION, PH, RTH, ... whatever the previous function is, PILOT is still in control and not the "pre-programmed" logic.

That was the purpose of I2C_GPS_NAV, and is abonded... sad IMO. Now all is separated in code files, but treated by 1 cpu.

Got the wookon maiden, mmm, really rock solid pos-hold on a 1m diagonal quad. I get the same gyro and level solidness with the multiwii, but the tuning of altitude and GPS is not there yet , at least not that easily as dji I will sadly not have the machine anymore to test the mwii GPS. I am close to temporally leave Multiwii and move to ArduCopter there i have a feeling the main developers (Alex, EOSBandi, …) are not really present anymore.
Especially for the GPS waypoint features there is no clear agenda on what is coming and when.

I managed to get rid of violent mag spikes at hoover, now there is still a constant ripple (GUI). Can this further be filtered?

What explains the “circling” effect while tuning GPS position hold PID’s. (quad starts to make larger and larger clockwise circles around the pos –hold position)
Is it possible that it comes from the vector calculations where the calculated projections are distributed on a “circle”…
