FYI Compiling in Linux is easy as all you need is the gcc-arm-none-eabi toolchain. Windows is so complicated for just a compile. No I don't think you have a problem with props and motor selection, I run a few of my quads with 8" 4.5 props with 1450kv motors and they don't flip unless I make them. When things are setup right you can even put in mis-matched equpiment i.e. I was testing 8" x 6" props, i put one on...

The switch between portrait and landscape, I use my devices almost always in portrait, dashboard 2 being a portrait option would be great!

I use a servo tester to check these things while building, I used to do it the put it all together, guess and cross fingers, I hurt myself a couple of times with killer quads... servo testing each motor is much safer (even better with no props).

So I flew today with r1539 with the extra line Alexinparis asked me to try. P for Yaw was anywhere from 4.7 to 9.0.
