Re: baseflight + SONAR
I've been trying sonar on a HEX6X I'm building. I set it up first with 1k ohm resistors, & then with some voltage dividers. But with it connected on pins 7&8 (rev 5 full) the board won't start up when the battery is plugged in; it just sits on the blue led and won't respond. Try again with t...

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread
Flying wing problem - I've flashed R234 to acro naze. Looks OK in GUI and the servos do the expected by TX movements or reacting to the wing being moved. Can enable angle mode by switch with red LED illuminating etc. Just can't get the board to arm ('ARM' doesn't turn green and throttle doesn't get ...

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread
1000 for MIN_THROTTLE is far too low. No wonder your ESCs won't arm. Try 1100 and make sure the endpoints on your Tx are set correctly so that minimum Throttle on your Tx is below what you set for MIN_THROTTLE in the GUI. I've tried it with the defaults 1150/1850 and that didn't work. Endpoints are...

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread
Just trying to set up the acro naze32 in the flying wing. I've got the flying wing mixer set and all connected via ppm. servos are on 3&4 and moving in the right directions etc. The esc is on 1 but I can't get the motor working. WIth arm set in config 2.1 the motor follows the throttle on the sc...

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread
Just got a Acro Naze 32 through (thanks TC) for an old Zagi flying wing that I'm recovering.
Could anyone tell me which outputs go to the two servos and the esc on the flying wing mixer before I solder the headers? thanks

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread
Hi LeoWie,
Any chance you could post a link where to buy the GPS module that you're using successfully with Naze32?
I've got an MTK one and its not happening for me...
Thanks in advance

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread
I've got it connected to one of the esc bec - do I need to get it powered up before firing up the naze32? I'll give it a go tomorrow and check the tx/rx lines for continuity. Any other ideas as to other things to try would be much appreciated

This one: http://www.flytron.com/osd-headtrackers/15-simpleosd-gps-module.html
It stores the 5hz - 115200 setting, I can cycle power and reconnect via mini gps at 115200 and see it outputting stuff...

I'm missing the obvious somewhere - please kick in the right direction... First I've set my gps module via minigps software to 5Hz and 115200 and can see it outputting stuff: Screen Shot 2012-09-09 at 09.09.30.png Flashed the latest firmware, into cli to set all my usual settings + feature gps. Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread
With a gps module connected should I expect the 'GPS' to be green in multiwiiconf (yellow arrow in pic) - I'm guessing not and that it's a case of waiting for a lock to see any confirmation within multiwiiconf that gps is working? not sure if I've got the tx and rx the right way round and can't get ...

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread
I'm trying to connect one of these: http://www.flytron.com/osd-headtrackers/15-simpleosd-gps-module.html I've set gps_type=2 and experimented with the baudrate (I think the gps default is 9600) but it doesn't appear in the multiwiiconf. I figure the gps needs its baudrate setting to 115200? But I ca...
