WM+ as an autopilot
Hi all, I'm not sure whether this isn't already possible with the basic gimbal setup but I wondered whether it would be possible to make the WM+ setup to work as a plane stabilizer with a function to turn the level mode on and of just like in the multicopters. I made a test setup to test the wm+ on ...

Re: MultiWii v1.preter7 released
Hi all! Were there changes in the 1.7preter for the camera stabilization? I had it working in the 1.7prebis but now the stabilizing servo's don't do anything at all anymore. Normally when calibrating the wm+ the start to wiggle until it was done, after which they would work perfect. So now none of ...

Re: GoPro stabilizer
I Also used a bladeholder on my tailrotor, it is an aluminum version though so no problems there. But it took about 5 tricopter versions to get it right

Re: GoPro stabilizer
I made a few pictures of my setup. It is still a bit gluey, but it does the job very well. I used a bladeholder of a size 500 helicopter with his axle in a hollow carbon tube. And I directly glued the servo to the GoPro housing, this seemed the most solid solution.

Re: yaw spinning problem
I made a new setup now. The gyro chip is now exactly on top of the nunchuck chip, and exactly 37.5cm from all motor axles. So that should cover the gyro and nunchuck placement. Now the weight is still quite off due to the camera in front. I've blown an ESC so I can't test it yet. I'll keep the forum...

yaw spinning problem
Hi all! I have a bit of a problem with my tricopter. When I max the yaw when flying it doesn't spin nicely on the spot like most multiwii tricopters do but it circles around in ever more wider circles. Like you see in this video I made earlier today: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S3yVjJNDFSA&hd...

It's new with 1.pre7
It works! Great, thanks!

Re: MultiWii v1.pre7 released
Ok 1.7 seems to work OK accept for the fact that I can't get the engines to arm. The arduino is blinking after booting, what does that indicate? I haven't seen this before, coming from version 1.5...
Any advice?
Thanks!
