Re: PIDMIX problem?

So, all in all, I believe there is a problem with the software itself. If not PIDMIX, but something else. possible but unlikely. Most users built quads and arduino nano or some such was very common at the time. So you can expect this should be a well tested combination. I suspect your config.h may ...

applying throttle of 25
does this mean 25%?
Can you measure the pwm signal on the 4 outputs?
Does symptom remain if you swap wires to ESCs from pins 3 & 11?

arduino nano is not much of a 32bit system really. Wrong subsection but nevermind, traffic is slow these days

But even without tuning the PIDs, the motors should change speed with command changes, right? correct. I was too lazy to read up on your esc - I presume it does require and answer to input min/max calibration like regular brushless esc did way back then? Can you verify the output signal of your fli...

Re: Arduino Nano + MPU6050 connections in fixed-wing

arduino nano is ok;
using predefined nanowii in config.h uses 32u4 mcu and is probably wrong - instead activate 328 mcu and sensor (plus other features) separately in config.h;
rewiring output is possible but requires knowledge - in short "no for beginners"

build MultiWiiConf on macos 11.7 (and win10) in 2023

I have seen requests to get a working MultiWiiConf on a more recent macos. I just had to do a rebuild myself. a) get or update appropriate driver for the usb-serial interface - good verification is to build and upload MultiWii 2.4 to the FC with the arduino IDE app. b) get MultiWiiConf.pde (the sour...

insert the usb connector as late as possible in the build/upload process.

Once you have a receiver attached (and the config menu in MultiWii enabled) it gets easier: enter the config menu via stick commands. While in there, uploading always works for me

Hey, i have found some settings that seems to correspond to what i wanted, you have to choose bicopter in the config.h then go to output.h and find the "min mix table" chapter and change the "BI" settings lines like this: actually, you could define BI as your coptertype and then use MY_PRIVATE_MIXI...

Re: not sufficient TX servo adjustment range

servo min/max is for the outputs of servo (endpoints and center) only - it does not affect the input ranges from your rx to the FC. FORCE_SERVO_RATES {0,0,1,1,0,0,0,0} is ok; bit 0 is used for direction reversal - the high values like 30 or 100 are used as proportional factors for other servo functi...

signals from the receiver going into your FC should be in the range of >1000 up to <2000.
MWii detects values below 980 (not sure about correct trip point) and discards anything below with result of no valid input.
