I'm trying to make your minim osd firmware running with the naze32. I have mixed results. I can see the horizon move, but the rest is not working. I mean, it keeps in disarmed even if i arm (the display), timer always on. Cannot change anything with gui. I flashed the latest firmware (370 i believe)...

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread

you can add a multiplexor, combined in parallel with a wifi router. That will give the buzzer another chance. Only problem is the cable connecting the router, but maybe you could use a tesla coil to power it.

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread

i would not recommend you to use that buzzer as a led strip. It will flush 220 volts on your board and probably make popcorn out of the gyros. Also, the magnetic field of the buzzer will probably interact with the superconductive matter inside the magnetron making the quad unstable and producing vol...

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread

I am using the latest base flight code and the yaw function is too slow, how can I increase the yaw function? I want it fast. ----> add some rate to your yaw. default is 0. Go up to 0.5 for a first feeling or higher for extreme rates.

You can do that on your GUI of choice.

Paul, I think the one that don't comprehend is you, you claim that those hobbywing esc work perfect at 400Hz but not at 490.
How do you know? Do you have a proof of that?
In the sticker it's not told they are good at 400Hz neither the description.

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread

charles, it's me, the coder, i see that you have an old switch list there. Should be level horizon in the first 2 rows. You need to have something like the image below.

Be sure that when starting the AIO you have the 1.1.11 version.

In theory the switch rows gets data from the board.

Re: Gyro calibration (zeroing), movement detection

Hmmm, I'm not so sure, waiting and leaving the batery to cool down to below freeze level will just make things bad. Lipos don't like the cold (there is some alcohol inside) and make the electrolyte to densify. This leads to a less responsive batery in terms of electric power. And as everybody knows,...

scanman, I have one naze32 on an ecilop. I put it center front (I made the holder).
Any issue concerning the gyro mode flight, perfect behaviour. I do flight very little in level mode, and no problem at all. So go and use it uncentered.
