Re: Cheap propeller pairs for multirotor
Hmmm ... I recently tried some 10x6 counter-rotating pairs from hobbyking. Quite a bit of balancing was required and they weren't a good match for my dt-750 based quad (not enough lift). It flies much better with GWS RD 1147 (slow-flyers) but these are not available as counter-rotating pairs, so til...

Re: NEW camer stable method - ( mechanical)
I like your approach. I had a similar idea - using a helicopter swash plate - but I haven't had time to implement it. Unfortunately most of the cheap swash-plates from 450 clones seem to be 120 deg and need three servos. A 90 deg swash would work with two servos. I guess the achievable range of angl...

Re: enabling ultrasonic sensor and altitude hold
He's been posting a fair bit on diydrones, it appears he's been building pretty much every VTOL kit that's out there, KK multicopter, MultiWii, nVader and a few others - so far I didn't have the impression he did his own development though. To be honest, I couldn't quite gather what he did based on ...

Re: enabling ultrasonic sensor and altitude hold
At the risk of taking the fun obtained by working it out for yourself away, the following link provides some useful information on fusing accelerometer and barometric data: m This is only the sensor fusion aspect, the PID aspect is separate. I guess altitude hold without stick input is reasonably st...

The Duemilanove is not an Arduino Mega board (despite the fact that the chip has the "mega" in its name)
