in theory, i think virtually unlimited. however, frame period (and response to a channel change) increases proportionally with the number of channels.

I have a similar problem (channels jittering) with that servo as well. My Rx is the frsky 4ch that is set up in cppm mode. Added a choke and I think the situation improved somewhat but still not good.

Changed the servo to a different type and it is well after that.

frsky does work with multiwii (even cppm mode).

am not sure of your question. did you update the firmware on your t9x? how did you set your channel order? why not just reconnect until the gui is happy with the mapping?

1. press the mag calibrate in the gui.

2. for the next 30 sec or so when the led is flashing, rotate your copter 360 deg around each axis (and all around for good measure).

i've some notes about why the current init/calibration code may not be normalizing each sensor axis equally. i think the current scheme works, but can be a little more accurate.

i really don't think you need to adjust the pid parameters from the stock values. your pc/mac setup needs to be correct first, that means a working ide, a reliable way to compile the sources, upload the firmware and connect the corresponding (precompiled) gui version. i suspect that there's somethin...

the fact that you are not getting consistent behaviour of your ide is quite a problem.

you don't need the board to be located at the frame geometric center or center of gravity.

perhaps the best approach now is to find a working setup local to you and compare notes.

are you using the arduino 1.0 ide, which can open the main .ino file?

for your debug2 problem, it may be the case that you are not using matching versions of the firmware and the gui. they need to match, otherwise the gui is misinterpreting the telemetry data coming from the crius.

the gyros auto calibrate each time you power on the copter (needs to be still).
when you update the boxes (or pid values), you need to click "write" to commit the changes to the copter.

perhaps one small change from the published wiring diagram is to:

- connect esc vcc supply to RAW, but
- connect rx vcc to VCC (instead of RAW)

in this way, you could still use the ftdi cable to power the amp and rx to test them without having to plug in a lipo to the esc.

try adjusting the yaw servo linkage so that the rear motor tilts more to the right (thus yawing the tri more to the left).

your wmp is likely to be broken.

the pulsing on d12 is probably due to the firmware trying to power cycle the wmp since it is not responsive.

if the processor is powered by 5v, then i think you need the llc for the scl/sda lines to convert between the 5v processor and 3.3v devices.
